It hasn’t been easy trying to get bitcoin adoption on the island, but thats not stopping us!
I really enjoyed this episode. I had no idea who “Jake Galt” was prior to this, but he was very articulate and had a lot of fresh perspectives on the Fiat world (his name is in quotes because it is not his real name, but rather an homage to the Atlas Shrugged character "John Galt"). He calls himself a “recovering CPA” and as a financial auditor he describes first hand how he started to recognize the problems with the Fiat world and came to realize that the entire system we are living in is incredibly broken.
He talks about how the Fiat world is a proof of stake (POS) system, and that you are required to stake yourself further into it along the way. He is now a serious Bitcoiner and points out the differences between a proof of work (POW) system like Bitcoin and POS. He has a new book called “Break the Stake” which provides a detailed description of his thoughts and perspectives, and encourages everyone to “break your stake from the matrix.” I actually read the book and it is very good.
Two points that really resonated with me:
- He refers to health care as “sick care” because it is 17% of GDP. Meaning, they NEED us to stay sick enough to maintain 17% of GDP or the economy would collapse
- He talks about division in society and uses an analogy that we are like "ants in a jar, fighting with each other instead of the hand that is shaking us"
This is a very casual, lake side conversation with @efenigson from @Campnakamoto and was a fun, easy listen. He does a great job presenting his thoughts. Highly recommended!
They need you sick enough to stay on forever pills, but never sick enough to die. @WhoIsJakeGalt traces it back to the middle aisles of your grocery store, where nothing on the shelves is real food.

🎙️The Bolus Theory: The Hidden Mechanism of Vaccine Injuries
Ep. 170 with @GirardotMarc
Marc Girardot is a strategy consultant, entrepreneur and author of The Needle's Secret, a Cisco and INSEAD alumnus and a member of Panda (Pandemic Data & Analytics)). Before Covid he was trained by a leading immunologist, which gave him the footing to question the official narrative. Applying the root cause analysis he has practiced in business for 30 years, Marc developed the Bolus Theory, built on more than 4,000 published case reports and laid out in his book and his Bolus Theory Series. In this conversation, we dig into what a snakebite has to do with vaccine shots, how intramuscular injections can reach the bloodstream, why oxygen and stem cells may hold the key to repair, how he connects stem cells to turbo cancer, and why he thinks the Spike Protein is not the problem.

🎙️Oct. 7 Aftermath: Trauma, Love & Israel’s Elections
Ep. 168 with Lino Hermesh
Lino Hermesh lost his brother Omer, who was murdered in his home on October 7, 2023. He joins me again 3 years later to look at the aftermath: how tragedy amplified untreated traumas, mental state of survivors, returned hostages and Israelis, why Lino stopped believing elections change anything, and the beauty and oneness he found in the middle of grief. He shares why he is done fighting shadows and why, for him, love and art remain the answer. The episode closes with the beautiful song "Hope Still Flickers" interpreted by Nessi Gomes, Lino’s wife, carrying Lino's own words from those first days after Oct 7.

Bitcoin's consensus rules have never been written down outside of code. The only authoritative answer to whether a block is valid has been whatever Bitcoin Core does.
So every independent node has had to shadow Core instead of building against a shared reference, and the ones that drifted became chain-split risks.
The Orange Paper is a formal mathematical specification of Bitcoin's consensus rules. Signature validation, UTXO accounting, script execution, and block structure are defined precisely enough for any mathematician, engineer, or court to read and check.
Bitcoin Commons (@BtcCommons) has spent the past 12 months building a from-scratch Rust node against it. Z3 checks consensus paths against the spec on merge, and differential replay compares the node to Core across 900,000+ mainnet blocks.
The spec belongs to everyone. Any implementation can verify itself against it, Core included, and each one that does makes Bitcoin harder to capture through a single codebase.

My First Bitcoin is restructuring around its Education Network: a smaller team, lower costs, and a single focus—empowering those who empower others.
This is how we scale the mission: we will make it easier for bitcoin educators to get started, and likelier for them to succeed, by building the materials, infrastructure and community a global movement needs. This is the final step in a years-long transition from direct educator to global infrastructure.
My First Bitcoin becomes what the movement needs its center to be: lean, focused, and in service of 213 independent educators and 80+ education projects across 48 countries, each teaching or preparing to teach their own community, in their own language, on their own terms.
The whole My First Bitcoin team is now fully dedicated to growing this Education Network.

I really enjoyed this conversation between Jack and Nick. I listened to it twice because I wanted to go back to certain parts that I understood from a different perspective the second time around.
More than anything, it made me think about how Bitcoin allows us to observe time and what else this conversation opens.
I’ve been saying for a couple of years, and I have a talk where I say it directly, that Bitcoin is a state of consciousness and it meets you where you’re at.
I don’t really mean that hierarchically. Depending on your level of awareness, what you’re paying attention to, and where you connect, you begin to perceive different things inside the same system.
For that, I also call it Layer One.
Because consciousness, as Federico Faggin says, is irreducible.
In Austrian economics, human action is a priori. It is the first principle.
Bitcoin works beautifully with human action because it encounters choice through opportunity cost, intention, and, through action, becomes purposeful behavior.
And even though Bitcoin is made out of numbers, I don’t experience it as static. I see harmonics in it. The halvings, the intervals, the mathematical architecture, the repetition and interruption of cycles.
Harmonics are part of the nature of reality. They are also part of the quadrivium, one of the oldest ways of organizing knowledge.
Arithmetic is number. Geometry is number in space. Music, or harmonics, is number in time. Astronomy is number moving through space and time.
So when I speak about harmonics, I am thinking about proportion, interval, rhythm, tension, recurrence, and movement. They are interesting precisely because something can appear to move predictably, and then an interval or a point of tension changes the movement.
Gurdjieff spoke about these intervals. Things don’t simply develop in a straight, uninterrupted line. There are points where the movement changes, where something can evolve or involve.
This is also how I can read financial markets or astrological charts. There are rhythms, intervals, tensions, repetitions, and changes in direction.
And then astronomy brings another question. How and where are we located within all of this?
One insight from Jack and Nick’s conversation was thinking about blocks as time itself.
Jack calls the block a “quantized tick of time,” and at one point says:
“We exist on the other side of the boundary. We’re observing time from the outside.”
This opened another question for me because I don’t experience time as linear. For me, time is dimensional.
Dimensions cannot necessarily be measured in the same way we measure chronological time. I feel that you have to be both inside and outside of them to observe and perceive them.
So the idea that Bitcoin creates a sequence of discrete, measurable blocks while we can observe the time produced by that system from outside of it gives me another architecture for thinking about time.
What does it mean to be inside time while simultaneously observing it? What exactly are we measuring when we measure time? Are we measuring time itself, or are we measuring intervals that allow us to orient ourselves within it?
I’ve been questioning these subjects for as long as I can remember, exploring the nature of reality, thus the name of my first book, through Taoist teachers, Carl Jung, astrology, Human Design, Austrian economics, Bitcoin, and other practices.
Some people call these things woo woo. I don’t. For me, they’re different ways of looking at the nature of reality.
Even the root of physics, physis, takes us back to nature. We’re all trying, through different languages and systems, to understand what this reality is made of and what our relationship to it actually is.
Bitcoin gives me another architecture through which to observe and be part of it.
The value, again, is in perception, observation, intention, and purpose.
Efrat, thank you so much for this and allowing me who have been studying this for years, to learn something new
🎙️Bitcoin: The Architecture of Time
Ep. 162 with Jack Klucznik & Nicholas Marino
What if Bitcoin is the only true measurement of time? Can it be the model of unification of time, energy, and memory? Jack Klucznik and Nicholas Marino are the co-authors of “Bitcoin: The Architecture of Time”, a 244-page paper that approaches Bitcoin through physics, treating it as a thermodynamic and mathematical object built from entropy, energy, and quantized time. In this mind-bending episode 🤯🤯, we touch on the nature of information, consciousness, free will, meaning, quantum physics, computing and more. They explore these questions through their framework, while seeking physicists, mathematicians, and researchers willing to refine, or challenge their equations.
