Carbon credits are a powerful tool to fight climate change🌍, but they’re locked away for big institutions.
#Bitgrass is flipping the script! We’re tokenizing farmland into NFTs on @base, making carbon credits accessible to everyone in the Base community🌱
#LaunchingSoon #TBA
🌱 Did you know? 73% of forest carbon removal potential faces major socioeconomic barriers.
📚Key obstacles:
🏡 Land rights
💸 Poverty
🌾 Food insecurity
🏛️ Weak governance
🌍 Suitable land alone isn't enough. Successful restoration needs local support and secure land rights.
We’re starting with 100 hectares of tokenized farmland, aiming for 20,000 by 2030 + bioethanol production! 🌍🔥
A single 100m² NFT plot unlocks carbon credits & $BTG rewards.
