Dessa by @blocks is crazy to me. I don't think it even belongs under text-to-speech, it feels like a whole new category of model.
It never saw a single line of text. It was trained from scratch only on recordings of people talking, and it listens and talks at the same time. And most importantly, it's small enough to fit in a Macbook!

I stopped back by this morning to get a coffee and paid with ₿itcoin. Have you ever used ₿itcoin? @CashApp @Square
I found a new business through the neighborhood local cash in @CashApp. I asked if they accepted ₿ or not. The girls working said they did, but couldn't get their @Square terminal to get the qr code to pop up. I'm coming back Tuesday to meet with the owner to help them get it set up, so I had to use my debit card which charges me 3% for using it.
