I stopped back by this morning to get a coffee and paid with ₿itcoin. Have you ever used ₿itcoin? @CashApp @Square
I found a new business through the neighborhood local cash in @CashApp. I asked if they accepted ₿ or not. The girls working said they did, but couldn't get their @Square terminal to get the qr code to pop up. I'm coming back Tuesday to meet with the owner to help them get it set up, so I had to use my debit card which charges me 3% for using it.

I may be a special circumstance because i am in the downeast region of Maine running a primarily tourist driven Inn & Pub. Because of this, my clientele is highly transient and had absolutely no idea what this stuff was. On top of that, while Square said they notified retailers on multiple occasions, I never saw a thing and thus was totally not prepared for what was happening to POS which then caused my staff to be confused and our customers to be even more confused. The UI essentially took over the end of the check out process which for 99% of my customers left them with an unpleasant checkout experience. Again, I like the concept, but it just felt thrown at the wall if you know what I mean….
