Wonder Man is one of Marvelโs most sincere, and well-written shows since Daredevil
A show/character like this shouldn't be shafted
BUT ITโS NOT TOO LATE:
WATCH it!
TALK about it
REPOST calls for his return like this!
AND SPREAD THE HASHTAGS #SaveWonderMan #WatchWonderMan

not only is this an extremely incorrect take but a lot of people also see queerness as white exclusive and so they forget that there are queer poc suffering in their home countries who do get beaten, tortured, killed, and raped because they are queer...
Isnโt this literally every manga(with an exception of otoman)

Those kind of numbers + Yahya got nominated for an emmy. still wasn't enough to save it from Disney cancelling it & Blade tho. interesting, wonder why that is? Wonder what those two projects have in common?

oh that's mommy and daddy actually
Do yall think comic books canโt have realism or be drama driven instead of gimmick and action driven?
Replying to @SpideyShillOG
Wow! Look at that! It doesn't even feel like a comic book adaptation. That's what I'm talking about, now the comic book show is FINALLY watchable!
Bc we arenโt African.
We havenโt been African for over a century๐ญ
People miss why the trope exists: audience appeal
โWoman x monsterโ centers the monster because many women find nonhuman creatures attractive
The reverse would target men, but most men donโt find nonhumans attractive or romance appealing, leaving little audience demand
Do you think the only way to contribute to systemic oppression is governance?
Istg itโs like my community sees both gay people and gay issues as innately white ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ฟโโ๏ธ

black queers with years worth of repressed trauma from growing up in homophobic religious communities and households watch as black cishets argue that they donโt have the power to perpetuate queerphobia
Black people have virtually no power to institutionalize homophobia, white people do. This includes white queers, who have often weaponized their whiteness at the disservice of the broader queer community and other marginalized groups.

Being gay is punished by the death penalty in multiple black majority countries such as Somalia, Uganda, and South Sudan.
In the US Clarence Thomas, a black Supreme Court Judge, consistently votes down LGBTQ rights. Conversely, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson votes in favor.

I feel like people treat the comic medium more like a sport now, than an entertainment medium
Replying to @5p3ctacular
I would rather a bad comic it it is NOT about our of my favorite characters.
Otherwise I would rather read a boring comic than a one that butchers characterization.
Unless white queers are the โaverage personโ you havenโt refuted my point.

BTW this guy has been on the Supreme Court for 35 years and is one of the nine people who have the final say on what laws get passed in America. He's opposed gay rights every single time same sex marriage bills came to the supreme court.
