Pierce those shining clouds and fly away, Toriyama-san. Your impact in your lifetime was immeasurable, and I'm sorry to see you go.

You don't understand we have to watch 300 episodes of 90s Star Trek so you can appreciate the payoff of this two minute monologue in season 6 of DS9

The Indian security company that used 4 as a private key also lacks basic account security.
To sign into your account, you enter your email and receive a 4 digit code.
There are no limits on login attempts. You can try all 10,000 combinations.
The Indian government uses this.
eMudhra login to download customer's certs can be cracked
Their 1FA login generates a OTP & sends it. It also sends a RSA public key to front end
They haven't rate limited checks, so you can offline brute force 0 to 9999 encrypted with public key & find the OTP

Cause and Effect. Season 5 episode directed by Jonathan Frakes, with that great Kelsey Grammer cameo at the end as Captain Bateson whose ship the Bozeman had spent 90 years in the time loop. Frakes thought the script was a prank the first time he read it.
The show producers wanted Kirstie Alley to come back as Saavik and be standing next to Bateson on the bridge, but scheduling conflicts prevented it.
Since we’re talking about Star Trek: TNG. One of my favorite episodes was the one where the Enterprise got caught in some kind of time distortion and they basically lived the same day over & over where the Enterprise kept blowing up. Eventually, they would leave clues to solve the whole Enterprise blowing up problem. It was solid storytelling.

If you're not paying attention to music YouTube: There's a pretty big scandal about one of the most respected bassists of the past 20 years turning out to be a complete and utter fraud.
They're calling him "MIDI Vanilli"

People giving AO3 shit should read up on what happened to the British Library after its cyberattack. A major national institution with government backing and more funds had services disrupted for MONTHS.
AO3 is run largely by volunteers. Be serious.

Wife & I have been pretty stern with our oldest son lately, and he’s been getting really discouraged, saying he thinks he’s never good, & we’ve been struggling to find a balance with that.
But yesterday, I said something very out of line to him, & when I came to terms with it, I walked him into another & told him that what I said was bad, that I should control what I say when I am angry, and that I was really sorry.
He was confused about this, so I said to him, “Well, I did something wrong. I expect you to apologize when you do something wrong, so I would be a hypocrite if I didn’t do the same. I need to say sorry too sometimes.”
He’s been in a way better mood ever since and has been way more receptive to me & his mom. He didn’t immediately become a perfect kid (I still had to correct him a few times that night), but it was like he understood he’s not the only one who screws up sometimes.
That’s why, among many other reasons, I think it’s vital to apologize to your kids when you do something wrong.

There are far too many truly great performances in TNG to count.
This has always been a personal favorite of mine.

Somewhere, in a universe next to ours, a man who looks very much like Patrick Stewart wakes up from a long strange dream and begins playing the flute.

We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/

These dudes spent years claiming Cavill destroyed the city for fighting Zod, but praise this Superman deciding to have no urgency and “Have Fun” while an evil clone of himself wrecks Metropolis.
The DCU & its fans in a nutshell
Frasier has like four or five episodes about being mistaken for being gay and the one where ‘is being assumed to be gay so bad if it means I date Patrick Stewart as an opera conductor and I get first class tickets’ is, well. Yeah that’s a good pitch
