Making the impossible possible! These players have one thing in common--they beat incredible odds to get to the NFL.
So proud of these former CAI knights!!! @CAIKnightsFB @wesfresh23 @Akheem_Mes @AlbertReese15 @jwayne_5 @zikotraore
Congrats to Coach Jesse Chinchar and all the coaches who help 4 rookie players from Clearwater Academy make the 53 man roster of 4 different NFL teams today. Grok says here are the odds of that involving a small private school: on the order of 1 in tens of billions to 1 in trillions or far rarer. Here are the players: Ahkeem Mesidor, Seydou Traore, Wesley Bailey and Albert Reese @CoachJesse18 @JohnGarcia_Jr @Andy_Villamarzo
Mike Spann, one of the operaters in this photo, will soon be celebrated in a way only American Stories can do. Stay tuned.
CIA Team Alpha, their first day in the Darya Suf valley, Afghanistan, October 17, 2001. Eight officers, flown in aboard two Black Hawks from a secret base in Uzbekistan called K2, becoming the first Americans to set foot inside Taliban-controlled territory following 9/11. J.R. Seeger led the team, with Alex Hernandez as his deputy, alongside Scott Spellmeyer, David Tyson, Mike Spann, and several others, an eclectic mix of linguists, tribal experts, and hardened paramilitary officers dropped into the unknown with no real certainty of what waited for them.
Their mission was to link up with Northern Alliance warlord Abdul Rashid Dostum, a man known as much for his brutality as his battlefield instincts, and build the alliance that would topple the Taliban from the north. Nobody in Washington was sure it would work. When the helicopters landed that night, Dostum’s men swarmed the aircraft, and the warlord greeted the team chief simply, welcome to Afghanistan, we must have some tea. Three days later, on October 20, the Green Beret horse soldiers of ODA 595 landed to join them, the two forces working in tandem toward what would become one of the fastest and most successful unconventional warfare campaigns in American history. Mazar-i-Sharif fell within weeks.
It came at a cost most people have forgotten. During the Qala-i-Jangi prisoner uprising weeks later, Mike Spann became the first American killed in the war in Afghanistan, gunned down by the very al-Qaeda prisoners Team Alpha had been sent to interrogate. His teammate David Tyson fought through the chaos and called in the reinforcements that ultimately crushed the revolt. A single frame from day one of a mission that changed the entire trajectory of the war, before anyone in it knew how it would end.

Wes played for Coach Jesse Chinchar who stars in the hit show Country Ball (Amazon Prime Video). Wes was a wide receiver who converted to defensive end. Three of Jesse's other players, Akheem Mesidor. Albert Reese and Seydou Traore all have a serious shot at making the 53 man rosters. This could happen all in the same year....Grok AI says this is basically impossible.
Wesley Bailey was one of the Rams to watch in today's preseason game!
🔹5 Tackles
🔹Sack
🔹Forced Fumble
🔹 4 QB Hits
He caught up with our @DarrenMHaynes after his stellar performance!

Wesley was a WR in Canada..he came to play at Clearwater Academy after we convinced him to try defense. I guess he made the right decision.

One of the biggest opportunities is the marketing world right now is the concept of “collectibles marketing”
I feel so many brands and businesses must get educated on this asap and even small businesses should find their way in this lucrative opportunity.
Just like sports marketing depts exist in so many places, look for collectible marketing depts to emerge in fortune 500’s over the next decade

I'm not voting for anyone who thinks the wrong side won the Cold War or cheers for the Intifada like it's the World Cup.

Henry has modernized the lever action. They chambered it in modern cartridges like 5.56 and .300BLK and they includedthe ability to use STANAG magazines which offer a wide variety of capacities. That, and it's threaded for the use with a suppressor. Check this guy out:
