Andrii Fedchenkov, Flamengo’s head of scouting, is set to join Liverpool’s recruitment department.
Fedchenkov, 30, has been head of scouting at the Brazilian champions since February 2025, but he is expected to leave the club upon the expiration of his contract at the end of the year with Anfield his anticipated destination, according to South American sources with knowledge of the situation, speaking on the condition of anonymity to protect relationships.
Sources at Liverpool and Flamengo have described the Ukrainian as being data-driven and multilingual, in addition to highly-organised and regarded despite his age.
Before working at Flamengo, Fedchenkov spent a year in English football as a scout at Cardiff City. He previously worked as head of scouting at Greek club PAOK, and as a scout in his home country with Karpaty Lviv and then Shakhtar Donetsk.

🚨@adjones_journo on Trey Nyoni: Heading into the summer, there was the possibility of a loan move being the best next step for his development. By the start of the season, that potential plan was no longer being considered because his performances in pre-season earned him the opportunity to fight for first-team minutes.
The sale of Curtis Jones to Inter, and #LFC lack of midfield transfer activity, opened the door further. That in itself pointed to the club’s belief in him but also brought its own pressure. Moving up to fourth choice in the midfield pecking order meant he would be required to contribute consistently.

Barca should surely be keeping a close eye on Mahdi Nicoll Jazuli from Chelsea.
The 16 year old midfielder who's 1.88m tall making him highly effective in defensive duels and aerial challenges.
He possesses elite agility and a sharp turning radius. He is a highly dynamic dribbler who uses his body to shield the ball.
He's so elite that he can play all three roles from no.6 no.8 & no.10 at the highest order providing composure, high engine & work rate, eilte vision & creativity.
His press resistance spatial awareness makes him a very unique profile & provides verticality with switches & through passes.
His contract expires in 2028 which provides a big opportunity to sign him cheaper & better positioned for negotiations & barca needs to take revenge for Guiu as they activated his RC.
Deco Bring Mahdi Nicoll Jazuli to BLAUGRANA!!!

Yes, the letter is real. Einstein wrote it on April 10, 1948, to Shepard Rifkin of the American Friends of the Fighters for the Freedom of Israel (linked to the Stern Gang/Lehi), refusing support after the Deir Yassin events. It is documented in the Einstein Archives (92-587), has been auctioned at Sotheby's, and matches the original text exactly. The surrounding framing in the image (1952 date, "Occupied Palestine" header) is later editorial addition.

This is a very general view of Indians by the Israelis. There should be a case study on Indian subservience to Israel out of nowhere.
They hate us. Ridicule us. But still enjoy the largest external support besides the US from India.

raps with cmb on & no jak: 71.7% d-reb rate, 52.2% allowed at the rim
jak on, cmb off: 63.5% d-reb rate, 68.8% allowed at the rim
i get that one guy is 7 feet & the other is 6'7 but pretty clear which one is better at playing centre rn
Replying to @joey_doubleyou
the raps can keep starting jak if they want to, i don't care too much about that. but the minutes distribution at centre is gonna have to change. soon.

Mamardashvilli's passing is horrific. That's 3 times in 10mins now he's nervously played an inaccurate pass either to a Chelsea player or out of play. I can't see how he could ever be our no.1.

Bolsonaro literally fled on a narco-traffickers plane 🥲 Between the pardon for Juan Orlando Hernandez in Honduras, refuge for Flávio from Brazil, and the close alliance with Ecuador’s Noboa, the Trump admin is proving itself to be the true ally of narco-terror in the region.
Think Iraola deserves far more credit than the general consensus seems to be right now, he’s lost ONE match at Liverpool, to City. They’re 3 wins from 3 in the UCL, on 15 points after 8 games (71-ish point pace), utilising Nyoni, Koumas, Rio, McConnell. They were one of the teams whose transfer business was most worrying, Araujo’s done well but RB, LB, central midfield, he’s managed those issues near-perfectly. Still so much to be improved on even from a coaching POV but in a transition season with a sub optimal “rebuild” in the summer, you couldn’t have asked for much more.

[🟢] NEW: Rio Ngumoha chose Liverpool because he believed there was a clearer pathway to first-team football.
Interested clubs were also aware of frustration within his camp that Chelsea were prioritising incoming signings over their academy players. Liverpool’s use of youngsters in the 2024 Carabao Cup final helped demonstrate the opportunities available at Anfield.
