End-of-life care is vital for the dignity of all animals. Humans are animals, too, just self-domesticated.
We share so many similarities with other social creatures, except we have the opportunity, the responsibility, the blessing to be able to help & heal others. 🙏🏻❤️

‼️‼️HALL COUNTY, GA‼️‼️
‼️POSSIBLY URGENT SOON WITH A EUTHANASIA DEADLINE‼️
💖Houston💖
🐾Age: 2 years old.
⚖️Weight: 69#.
🏡Ideal Home: Only pet.
❤️Personality: Affectionate, sweet, confident, social, well behaved.
⚡️Energy: Medium.
😊Favorite Things: Treats and giving hugs. 🤗
💙 Meet Houston, a gorgeous boy with a BIG personality and an even BIGGER heart! 💙
Houston was previously adopted but sadly returned, with notes indicating that he needs to be the one and only pet in his home. 🏡❤️
This handsome guy is happy, confident, affectionate, and incredibly friendly and social! 🥰 He absolutely LOVES people and isn't shy about showing it. In fact, one of his favorite ways to share his love is by giving BIG hugs! 🤗🐾
Houston seems to check so many boxes! Having already lived in a home, he should have some familiarity with home life and what it means to be part of a family. He just needs a home where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself! ❤️
💔 Unfortunately, Houston will likely find himself on the URGENT LIST soon. With adoptions moving so slowly, we are worried about what lies ahead for this wonderful boy.
🙏 PLEASE don't wait until he's facing a deadline! Houston needs placement ASAP, and we would love nothing more than to see him safely in a loving home BEFORE his time becomes critical.
👉Houston is heartworm positive (HW+), but this is 💯 treatable, curable, and not contagious. Thanks to a wonderful, generous nonprofit organization, Fast Friends of HCAS, his treatment is fully sponsored and FREE to the adopter through the shelter. Please don’t let this stop you from giving Houston the loving home he deserves!

Only 3 & full of life but out of time. Pls if you can foster watch the video, looks like such a sweet & fun dog. Hate to see final call 😢
🆘 FINAL CALL — Can be killed at any point
🎥 Watch his last video
Malcolm #267951 | 3-year-old at Queens ACC
Watch with your EYES, not just your ears.
He’s labeled fearful & defensive around leashing — but this video shows a young dog playing, engaging, and loving people. The official label and the reality simply don’t match.
Does this dog deserve to be killed?

‼️‼️BEYOND URGENT AT MIAMI-DADE‼️‼️ DIES TOMORROW 11/4 at 3 pm‼️‼️His name is #BILLY #A2826592 and he came in to the shelter 25 days ago on 10/9 fearful with a severe skin condition. They are not qualified or competent to treat it but to make matters worse. He is now suffering from an upper respiratory infection that he contracted from this filthy shelter where sick dogs are placed in the same sections as healthy dogs. This is a great way for them to get rid of dogs and bring their numbers down

URGENT PUPPY IN HALL COUNTY, GA‼️ Gainesville, Ga
She’s spent a third of her life in a kennel...🩷🥺Instead of playing and snuggling with a family, three month old Mindy at Hall County Animal Services lives in a kennel for over 23 hours a day.🥺🥺
When Hall County Animal Shelter Volunteers take this sweet girl into the puppy room, she immediately starts to play.🥳She loves toys, and is so proud when she carries one around in her mouth. Mindy has perfected the puppy pose, complete with a little tail wag. She is precious! 🩷🩷
If your family is ready to adopt a pUppY for her LIFETIME, please come meet Mindy. Remember, puppys require patience and training.
If you aren't ready to adopt, please share Mindy. Let's find this puppy a LOVING FOREVER family!
✨️️Meet and greets with any of your current dogs are required. Please contact shelter staff with any questions.✨️
PS Yes, we wish Mindy wasn't in her kennel over 23 hours a day, and we need more volunteers to make that happen. Click below to apply to volunteer:

What is easier than giving your cat a box to play in to make them happy? Getting your highland bull a pile of dirt. I wish I was this easily amused.
