Finally, after 14 months of uncertainty, my fix to restore the 100% tax deduction for gambling losses has been passed out of committee.
I was the first Member of Congress to recognize this injustice when I introduced my provision to correct it on July 7, 2025. Since then, I have amplified this issue nationally and brought it to the attention of my colleagues, including members of @WaysandMeansGOP.
Now it is time for us to push this commonsense solution to the House floor, to the Senate, and finally to the Presidentās desk. I wonāt stop fighting until we get this over the finish line.

Very pleased to see that my gambling loss tax deduction fix has finally been included in a tax package. I encourage my colleagues to push it through @WaysandMeansGOP this week as quickly as possible.

Here's the story on how I got scammed for $140,000 in a crypto for cash swap in Beverly Hills by Ahmiah Smith.
Four other people got hit by the same girl for $390k, $150k, $150k, and $60k.
The playbook is identical every time: they target someone with a big network in the poker/gambling world and ask if they know anyone who wants a swap. That person intros you to the scammer that seems like a big gambler. You meet somewhere public and upscale, but instead of meeting the person you expect, it's a girl that claims to be their girlfriend. She shows you real-looking bills, you send the crypto, and they're out the door before you realize the money is fake.
I'm asking the poker/crypto community for contacts at @Stake, @tether, trx, and Duel - that's where my/other victim's funds are sitting and Beverly Hills PD needs contacts there.
Otherwise, please RT for visibility. Someone reading this is about to take the same meeting.
And I'm begging everyone to be very, very careful with swaps, crypto op sec, all of it. Maybe I'm a moron, but some of the smartest people I know got hit the same way. If it can happen to us...

BREAKING: All charges against myself, my partners, and the Lodge have been officially rejected.
The seized money and equipment will be returned and we will reopen as quickly as possible, hopefully within a few weeks.
The Grand Jury in Williamson county heard the allegations against us, and refused to authorize proposed charges.
Justice has prevailed.
The damage to our staff and members has been tremendous, and it is now time to rebuild.
We will be putting together a kickoff event in the near future.
In the words of a great man: āyou gotta know when to hold'emā

šØSCAMMER @leviathanlocksšØ
(Please RT to help others not get scammed) DO NOT USE @leviathanlocks
I signed up back in January and deposited $1,500.
Within 7ā10 days, they took away my Prop Builder⦠which was literally the #1 reason I signed up in the first place.
Anyone in the @OddsJam / @PTO community the last couple years knows live Prop Builder is one of the biggest edges out there ROI % wise. But accounts take it away extremely fast now and the limits are shit but if you want an easy edge to grind.. there you go! I also use PB for originated prop betting too. These services i mentioned are ābetting toolsā to help you make informed bets by showing price discrepancies in the market, not bots that actually place bets for you.
I ran the balance up to about $3,600 in roughly 2 weeks⦠then PB gets shut off.
After that, I barely even used the account. Maybe 2ā3 prop bets a week on the main book, just to fill in spots I couldnāt get down elsewhere.
A little over 2 weeks ago, I decided the juice wasnāt worth the squeeze anymore.
No PB = not much value for me there.
So I decided to cash out.
March 31st: I text their customer service number to withdraw.
No response.
I DM @leviathanlocks on X.
He tells me I mustāve gotten skipped.
Then on April 5th, the āCS guyā finally texts me back and asks for a Venmo.
I send it.
April 6th: he texts me asking ā u used a bot on us?ā
Short answer: No.
He tells me Iāll get paid⦠but Iāll be slow paid.
I wait a few days.
April 10th: I text again asking when Iāll be paid.
He replies: āMonday.ā Insinuating (April 13th)
Monday comesā¦
No payment.
I text the āCSā guy again.
No response.
I message @leviathanlocks again⦠and now he keeps accusing me of using a bot over and over.
Still says Iāll be slow paid.
At that point I said:
At minimum, send me my $1,500 deposit back TODAY and Iāll wait on the profit.
Otherwise Iām taking it public so other people donāt get burned too.
His response?
āMake your post.ā
So here we are.
At the end of the day, Iām not even looking to accomplish much here.
They stole $2,700 from me. Peanuts in the grand scheme but itās the principle. And I donāt want to see others keep a significant size of their bankroll in a book like this and get scammed.
And the funniest part?
I used my actual @TheArbFather account.
Believe it or not, Iāve had books straight up tell me āno thanksā. Others take the action, limit/cut me off, and still pay me like theyāre supposed to.
Iād rather go through the front door honestly than play the burner account game and duck/dodge like that if I donāt have too on bookies.
End of the day on everything I love I didnāt use a bot, I went through the front door on my actual twitter account, I made a little $$ and this scam ass site is saying whatever to get out of paying.
Straight up theft, stay clear of these 𤔠@leviathanlocks

š„šØBREAKING: It is being claimed on X that In 2009, Tim Tebow proved the existence of God, a post that is trending reveals the statistically impossible consistency with a bible verse and the former football player.
Trad West: āTim Tebow wrote John 3:16ā under his eyes during the National Championship Game. 94 million people searched the verse that night.
Exactly three years later to the day, Tebow played his first NFL playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He threw for 316 yards. His yards per completion were 31.6. The TV rating peaked at 31.6. The opponentās time of possession was 31:06. The only interception in the game was thrown on 3rd and 16. The game was played exactly 316 weeks after Tebow declared he would play college football for the University of Florida.
Six different statistics. All pointing to the same verse. On the same date. Three years apart.
Nobody planned this. Nobody could have.ā
āFor God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.ā John 3:16

I testified before the House Rules Committee about the urgent need to restore the gambling loss tax deduction to 100%.
I submitted an amendment to this weekās Appropriations bill that would do just that.
Itās time to get this fair, common sense fix over the finish line.

Gambling tax loss 90% deduction cap has another chance of being reversed today in the House Rules Committee.
Reps. Miller (R-OH) & Horsford (D-NV), who intro'ed FULL HOUSE Act, filed it as amendment to DoD appropriations bill. They are now joined Malliotakis (R-NY) & Lee (D-NV).
Very happy and pleased with the consistent growth recently on YouTube. I finally crossed 7k subs and am now 2999 away from the 10K mark!

Thank you @RepAndyBarr for co-sponsoring the FAIR BET Act. With bipartisan support, we are one step closer to restoring the 100% tax deduction for gambling losses. Itās the right thing to do.

Why it doesnāt make sense for poker tournaments to be taxed:
Collectively, the only revenue being generated is by the house.
They win, but collectively there is no income for players.
Example:
100 players put up $1000 and an extra $100 for the house.
15 of those 100 players will show a profit that day, but the sum total of the 100 players is a loss.
If winners and losers all filed their taxes appropriately for that event, the government earns nothing from the players and is just buried in unnecessary paperwork.
The house earning revenue should pay their fair share of taxes, of course, but taxing a group of people that are net losing money isnāt right.
If you are taxing the house and the winning players, you are just double dipping.

šØWOW! Senator Dina Titus's post (@repdinatitus) about passing the Fair Bet Act has over 1 million views thanks to our nationwide grassroots petition!šØ
š©BUT our work is not done! š©
We need your help now to contact @RepJasonSmith and ask him to submit request for a hearing with @WaysandMeansGOP stop the PHANTOM TAX NOW!
The ONLY way this gets passed is if we act before December 20, 2026!!!
Itās time to unite as a gaming community!
His staff has been amazingly helpful, and I know Senator Smith loves America and its freedoms!
Earlier this year the BS Budget Bill reduced the tax deduction for gambling losses to 90%.
In response, I introduced the FAIR BET Act to restore the commonsense 100% tax deduction to protect professional and recreational gamblers. I was the first in Congress to introduce this fix and havenāt stopped garnering support from members and stakeholders since.
In fact, the #FAIRBETAct has up to 21 bipartisan co-sponsors with @RepEzell most recently joining!
It is now critical for @WaysandMeansGOP to add this bill to the legislative calendar before the year ends. We must get this fixed.
