And then they built an entire institutional infrastructure around him and these ideas. His version is the future they want for the Republican Party. That’s why they break out in hives when people connect those dots.
Back in January 2019, so closing on eight years ago, Matthew WAGTFKY ("We Are Going To F--king Kill You") Peterson was already writing about how Tucker Carlson is a thought leader leading his splinter of the Right toward a new Republican Party. Goes back! americanmind.org/features/th…

Local news reported that Jennifer James, wife of a councilmember in White Settlement running for reelection, was cited for stealing a sign for Mayor Faron Young, who defeated her husband in 2023. The reports missed that Jennifer is on the Tarrant County early voting ballot board.

It’s absurd that the DoD IG is refusing to investigate. The Starshield slowdown in Ukraine was an absolute mess. Nobody disputes that it happened. Musk, the White House, and the Pentagon are just pointing fingers at each other over who ordered it & why. Meanwhile, Russia launched 850+ Shaheds at Ukraine while the speed cap was kneecapping the interceptor drones built to stop them. Ukrainian civilians were killed in those attacks. Starshield is a U.S. military contract, signed under the Biden administration & still managed by the Pentagon. Whatever your views on Ukraine, a U.S.-controlled defense system was throttled during an active war, and no one knows who made that decision. That is a legitimate oversight issue. This is EXACTLY what Inspectors General are supposed to examine. Their purpose is to conduct independent oversight when there are serious questions involving government programs, contracting decisions, or conflicting accounts from U.S. officials. In this case, nine senators from both parties asked the DoD IG to investigate. Senator Thom Tillis said he wasn't "holding my breath" for Pentagon leadership to provide clear answers, which is precisely why lawmakers sought an independent review from the IG's office. The IG declined. Instead, the senators were advised by the IG to direct their questions to the Air Force & Space Force. Those organizations certainly possess many of the relevant records, but they are also part of the same department whose actions are being questioned. Independent oversight exists precisely because government agencies should not be the sole judges of their own conduct. As a reminder, Trump fired roughly 17 Inspectors General in January 2025. Congress was not provided the advance notice and detailed justification that the law required. The previous DoD IG, Robert Storch, was among those removed. Storch's replacement, Platte Moring, previously served as a Pentagon lawyer during Trump's first administration and was later nominated by Trump and confirmed by the Senate. Maybe Moring's background has nothing to do with this decision. Maybe the IG has legitimate reasons for declining to investigate. But we still don’t know who ordered the slowdown, the administration’s messaging on Russia and Ukraine has been all over the place, and now the one office specifically designed to provide independent answers has chosen not to look into it.
SCOOP: The DoD Inspector General is declining to investigate Musk and Starlink slowdowns in Ukraine despite a bipartisan request from 9 Senators. @SenatorShaheen calls it “concerning” The IG says the lawmakers should direct their questions to the @usairforce and @USSpaceForce

Maybe people shouldn't be deciding who their enemies are based on their political affiliation. Opponents, maybe. Not enemies.

It's normal for state governors to use national guard as cyber security during elections. Please don't give into the hype and election fear mongering.
BREAKING: US National Guard units in all 50 states are now quietly "mobilizing for next week's elections," per Ken Klippenstein. The mission covers direct observation of ballot drop boxes and polling places, plus federal cybersecurity support. It is the first time in US history the National Guard is being deployed at this scale ahead of elections. Hegseth ordered military spy agencies to "mobilize every asset … to defend our election" so that "every lawful voter can cast their ballot free from foreign intimidation, coercion, or fear."

Dear Director Patel @FBIDirectorKash, In 2024 I sat in Alon Alexander’s mansion in Miami Beach with the brothers, their father, the rest of the family, and a disbarred attorney who went to federal prison for helping drug traffickers obstruct justice, and I was told it was gang initiation time. My target was Evan Torgan, the attorney representing the women who had come forward against Oren, Tal, and Alon Alexander. The family believed Torgan was being paid to orchestrate the women and extort them. I was asked what my connections were to the FBI and the Department of Justice. Oren told me they had already hired another private intelligence operative to gather information on the women. They could see an indictment coming. The disbarred attorney was Samuel Burstyn. He served 42 months for conspiracy to obstruct justice on behalf of a drug trafficking organization. That is when I stopped thinking of it as an intelligence job and started thinking about what could physically happen to Evan Torgan. I said no. I called Evan Torgan and warned him. Then I contacted the FBI, told your agents what I had seen, and handed over every electronic communication between me, the brothers, and the family. That is part of what I heard in that house. I am leaving out the rest on purpose, because I will not put anything in public that could hurt an investigation. Yesterday the brothers were sentenced to 30 years each. Judge Caproni called what they did monstrous. She was right. But that sentence closes only half of this case. The other half is in the Peacock documentary The Wolves of Real Estate: The Alexander Brothers, and I did not understand its full extent until I watched it. The film reports that a victim was told by an investigator that her children had been mentioned. Victim 4 dropped out. Director Patel, that is not crisis PR. That is not intelligence gathering. That is a woman who reported a rape being told that someone knows where her children are. I believe it was witness intimidation, and I believe it was criminal. I am asking you to open an investigation into the PR firms, the investigation agencies, and the individual investigators who were paid to target, discredit, and intimidate these women and their lawyer, and where the evidence supports it, to charge them. I am also asking you to widen the case. Oren told me about other billionaires. He told me about a victim being held in a dungeon in a billionaire’s house in the Hamptons. I cannot prove what he said. You can. The brothers did not operate alone, and I believe there are more victims who were silenced by exactly this machinery. The people who helped this family, protected it, and hunted its accusers should not get to watch the sentencing on the news and go back to work. These women did their part. They spoke, and they were hunted for it. The brothers who raped them got 30 years. The people who hunted them got paid. Fix that. Now do you understand why the Ukrainians don’t want to give up any territory to Russia? Giving up land = Surrendering part of the population to this kind of torture indefinitely.
"Within days, Russian soldiers poisoned their dog, an Alabai, along with all the other large dogs in Oleshky. They killed Liudmila’s nextdoor neighbor and raped his wife. A local butcher disappeared; no one knew whether he was also killed. Some neighbors were detained and beaten. Armed, masked soldiers searched Liudmila’s home three times, confiscating the couple’s Ukrainian passports and leaving them with no documents. And yet, Liudmila and Andriy stayed. They got a new puppy, also an Alabai. Russian troops started to move into civilian houses, parking tanks in what once were gardens."

I'll take none of it in government, but yes the hypocrisy is real.
Notice how it's somehow the government's job to legislate a few Bible verses on human sexuality over our entire country, but it's suddenly "not the government's job" when it comes to the +2,500 Bible verses calling for a generous use of wealth that prioritizes the poor.

Well, that wasn't hard to predict and there's Mike Benz being floated as the "expert" Remember, Russ Vought hired Benz as an SGE to rummage through the USAID files and manufacture something, anything. Cobble together some sort of color revolution narrative to sell
Wonder if the bogus "color revolution" narrative has anything to do with this? Convenient timing, just before the elections! Funny how many pushing this BS have ties to Republika Srpska and even dispatched the three halfwit e-girls to lobby for Vučić

Political whores always think principled stands, even against white nationalism, racism, antisemitism, Holocaust denial, and their enablers is whoring out to the other side. @TimMurtaugh will keep getting paid to advance whoever pays him and champion a tribe, no matter its excesses. In 2016, I opposed Trump. My daughter was given a guide to commit suicide by her classmates. My son was beaten up on the playground. My wife told her Bible Study she had stage 4 lung cancer and a woman told her she'd pray, but wanted to beat me up. We had 3 men show up at our home to threaten us. My family had to have security. I wasn't doing it for praise then. I'm not doing it for praise now. I'm doing it because the right, like the left, has festering racism and antisemitism rising; Mike Collins has surrounded himself with white nationalists, Holocaust deniers, antisemites, and men who abuse both dogs and women. He has defended them, sheltered them, and employed them repeatedly. And I will not vote to send them to Congress anymore than I'd vote to send communists to Congress. But Tim will support the guy with the "R" next to his name because Tim is a political whore who will attack conviction as an exercise in praise all while continuing to support awful candidates who keep making the country worse.

You’d rather preen & seek praise from corners where they mock you, and you are willing to turn control of our government over to a bunch of leftists who would usher in policies that will lead us to full-on communism. You have abandoned all principles you once claimed to have had.

This reminds me of something @DefiyantlyFree said. She pointed out that a hallmark of theocrats is that they attempt to achieve through coercive means what God Himself would never do. That is to force a conscience to worship against its will.
"Coercion can restrain what is bad, but it cannot produce what is good."

AI translation: “The illegitimate and illegal actions of Lula's former lawyer made it possible for an impossibility in mathematics to materialize, and Lula gained more than 10 million votes between the first and second rounds.” He’s saying the election was stolen because Lula got more votes in the second round. That’s why they have runoff system! If it’s just supposed to go to the person who won the first round they wouldn’t have another election. The Bolsonaros just don’t believe in elections where they lose. You can criticize the government of Brazil, but these people simply reject democracy and don’t have a leg to stand on.

"Please use the religious text of my preference to try to make an argument against my religious fanaticism", is quite the take. Ultimately, the US is a secular nation where people can practice any religion, or none, and no religious text or deities are relevant to others.
