Thank you, Dr. Chang, and the PTCOG community for this honor and for recognizing our work on proton dose intensification for glioblastoma with the Michael Goitein Award.
It has been my great pleasure and honor to serve as the Scientific Program Co-Chair and Clinical Leading Chair for PTCOG for the past four years. I am delighted to witness the advancement of cutting-edge radiation therapy technology and the growth of our talented young colleagues. This will be my last time presenting the Dr. Michael Goitein Award to our outstanding clinical young investigator. @BrianDeMD @PTCOG_Official

@MarcusAFlorez @JAbiJaoude and team reporting on PEP changes after enrollment begins; policy rec - need COMPLETE protocol published w trials, including history of changes. @RKouzyMD @TaniguchiMD @cd_fuller @roshalp @michael_overman @BrianDeMD @mekupferman
Among registered phase 3 cancer trials, 19% had the primary endpoint (PEP) change after enrollment began. 70% of changes were not reported, and PEP change is associated with positive PEP results. ja.ma/459paSr

There has been a lot of 🔥discussion lately of short course radiation (SCRT) for locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC). I❤️SCRT bc it is convenient for working patients or those who travel for 🏥care. However, the RAPIDO update gives me pause. Let’s look at the history of SCRT:
