October 26th, 2018. Eight years ago today, Nathan Eovaldi delivered one of the greatest relief performances in World Series history. After pitching in Games 1 and 2, Eovaldi threw 97 pitches and pitched into the 18th inning of Game 3. A truly heroic effort

Nobody will remember:
-your salary
-how “busy” you were
-how many hours you worked
People will remember:
-the clanging sound of Mark Bellhorn’s home run off Pesky’s Pole in game one of the 2004 World Series, which sealed the win for the Red Sox.

David Ortiz tips back a giant bottle of champagne in the Fenway Park clubhouse — the night the Boston Red Sox finished off the St. Louis Cardinals to win the 2013 World Series, October 30, 2013.
Big Papi owned that Series: a .688 batting average, two home runs, and so little interest from St. Louis pitchers by the end that they walked him four times in the clincher alone. Boston won Game 6, 6-1, capturing a title at Fenway for the first time in 95 years — six months after Ortiz told a grieving city, "This is our city," and then went out and played like it. He was the runaway Series MVP, and it wasn't close.

The Red Sox needed a miracle to keep their World Series hopes alive in 1975.
It came in the form of Carlton Fisk’s walk-off home run in the 12th inning, which rattled the left field foul pole and fired up fans at Fenway Park. ow.ly/AwE050ZZIFo

October 21, 2007. The Red Sox completed the comeback from down 3-1 in the ALCS to win the Pennant and punch their ticket to the 2007 World Series. Dustin Pedroia went 3-5 with 5 RBI in the win. The two-run homer in the 7th was massive.

Honored to earn an A+ rating from Ohio Gun Owners.
The Second Amendment is clear: shall not be infringed. I'll keep fighting in Washington to protect Ohioans' right to keep and bear firearms.

Let’s not forget when we go to the ballot box that the Democrats are the ones who:
🔴Increased Inflation
🔴Stopped Oil Pipeline Development
🔴Shut Down Oil Production
🔴Increased Gas Prices
What terrible representation people of Massachusetts have today. Cheers to the 30 Patriots who voted to help struggling residents of Mass.
🚨 ROLL CALL: The Massachusetts House just voted down an amendment to suspend the 24-cent gas tax for 60 days.
The vote: 30 YES, 121 NO.
In a recent poll, nearly 7 in 10 Massachusetts residents support temporary gas tax relief, but House leaders said no.
Remember this roll call. Taxpayers asked for relief. Beacon Hill chose to keep collecting. ⛽
Last week, at the U of L, a student asked me to name the greatest threat to our national security. My answer: socialism and the internal acceptance of socialism.
Socialism only works by coercion. The more private property the government attempts to take over, the more force it needs. Liberty can't survive that.

October 21, 1975. 51 years ago today, Carlton Fisk hit one of the most iconic home runs of all time. He waved it fair to win Game 6 of the 1975 World Series in the 12th inning for the Red Sox. One of the greatest moments in baseball history.
The reality of socialism’s “free” things? Higher taxes, out-of-control debt, and fewer opportunities for everyone.
With the national debt above $40 trillion and inflation still at 3.7%, we cannot afford to add trillions more to the pile. If anything, we should be making across-the-board cuts and balancing the budget, which is exactly what my Six Penny Plan does.

19 years ago, J.D. Drew erased a season of frustration with one swing off Fausto Carmona.
This is when you knew the ALCS was over. It didn’t matter if it was only Game 6.
Drew’s first pump gets me every time. Even he had to show a little energy after a moment like that 🔥
