This may be unpopular but we should treat Northern Kenyan bandits the same way we treat al-Shabaab.
Yesterday, a biker named Trailstack 254 reported escaping an armed bandit attack while traveling from Kainuk toward Lokichar.
According to his account, the incident occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m., about ten minutes after he passed Kainuk.
He states that he observed a group of six armed bandits crossing the road from right to left before taking cover, seemingly waiting for him to approach.
As he looked in their direction, the individuals reportedly pointed their firearms and fired three shots at him. Fortunately, he was not hit, escaped the incident safely, and confirmed that he was unharmed.

Ooohh omg! You mean Pep wanted to sign him. Well butter my biscuits. Give him a new contract.
Pep also approved Savio, Mamoush and a laundry list of players Utd fans wouldn’t want.
I’m sorry, I’m getting really bored of the Marcus Rashford is actually amazing stories.
🚨 | Pep Guardiola once wanted to sign Marcus Rashford as a STRIKER, considering him physically and technically excellent with an extremely high “ceiling”.
Man City made an enquiry before he signed his new contract in July 2023, after it looked like he could leave as he tried to force a move to PSG.

This report is interesting the government used Claude to mass generate tweets to praise a Cabinet Secretary 😂
We're publishing our most detailed threat intelligence report to date.
It covers how people tried to misuse Claude—for cyberattacks, influence operations, surveillance, biology, and building weapons—and how we found and stopped them.
We disrupted every operation in the report, and used the lessons from them to strengthen our safeguards. Where appropriate, we also shared what we found with authorities and other AI companies.
These cases are not typical: we’re highlighting some of the most sophisticated misuse we’ve seen. But they’re especially important to discuss, because they show us where AI misuse is headed, where our safeguards work, and where they need to improve.
We’re publishing this report so others can spot the same activity on their own platforms, and so we can give the public a clearer view of how emerging threats develop.

However, even more consequential, today if you are an aircraft owner and you want to operate into Tanzania, your underwriter will insist that you take "Political Cover" because you never know, they may just decide they like your plane more than you do.

What's the point here? You see this Tata thing? If mishandled, it has the potential of ruining investor confidence for a long time. Nations run on institutions for a reason and with the kind of elaborate Constitution we have, certain decisions can't be made atop a landcruiser.

When Pax Britannica arrived to expand their dominance, pastoralists were raiding each other for minute control of scarce resources… today in the age of Pax Americana, at the dawn of AGI where even Chinese CCP wages economic war… you still want to raid each other? 😑🥲
The deliberate suppression of pastoralism is a grand pland stretching from the colonial days to the latest plan to give "digital ID" to livestock. Capitalism hates independent wealth, and conservation is just their servant

We are going to have an opportunity to choose between some guy who has close ties to RSF that kills children and another one who associates with impeached leaders in our country.
Even if you are foolish, isn't that an easy choice?

An opinion I have consistently held is that this administration does not understand that it is supposed to do under the law. Every single thing that Ruto and his people have done has been completely antithetical to the idea of government as enshrined in the Constitution.

The media is rolling out quotes from the man they attacked for 12 months because he could barely win us matches 😂😂😂😂
Good night
Ruben Amorim said this when he first took over at Man United in 2024 👀:
🗣️ "We have two ways. Forget the new idea; try to cope with the way we used to do things, and next year we'll be here with the same problems.
Or we start now; we risk a little bit, we suffer a little bit, and in the next year we will be better."

The Sports Dispute Tribunal (SDT), in the Kariobangi Sharks vs FKF case 2026, recently ruled the FKF Rules and Regulations (revised 2025) were valid and approved by “the NEC which has the power to make the rules” despite the same tribunal declaring them invalid last year as “they were not ratified by the FKF general assembly.”
I understand the High Court said the appeals committee is where everything should have started. Justice Musyoka said the SDT bypassed the appeals committee.
However, a while back @TeyaKevin reported that “the Tribunal ruled that the FKF Disciplinary Committee, in its current form, is illegal and cannot adjudicate any matters because it has not been ratified by the FKF General Assembly.”
I understand there's still another case at the High Court on the same issue.
