In June 1897, 2000 former slaves paraded in the Seychelles celebrating Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee, carrying Union Jack flags printed with the words ‘The Flag that sets us free.’
All been rescued by the Royal Navy from the East African slave trade.
In their public address, translated from Creole, they stated:
“Kindly, Sir, express to the Queen our thanks for our freedom and to England our gratitude to those English Sailors who were killed and wounded, fighting that we might be free.”
The slavery abolition Act had been enacted over six decades prior.

Slave owners were compensated in the 1830s–40s, not 2015. The government borrowed to fund this, later refinancing the debt into bonds redeemed in 2015. Those repayments went to bondholders, not as slave-owner compensation.

Labour nationalised c2c rail in July 2025.
Before nationalisation, 94% of trains reportedly arrived on time.
Just 15 months later, that figure has fallen to 71.5%.
That's a staggering collapse of 22.5 percentage points in service quality.
Passengers have every right to be furious.
Rail bosses should be hauled before MPs and made to explain how performance has deteriorated so dramatically.

Most people understand that being English, Scottish or Welsh means belonging to a people with deep ancestral roots. Yet in recent decades, we've conceded the meaning of Britishness. We've allowed globalist elites to reduce it to a set of invented values, as though thousands of years of ancestry, history and culture can be replaced by paperwork.
The British peoples descend from the ancient inhabitants of these islands, from the Stone Age and Bronze Age Beaker populations to the Celtic Britons, Anglo-Saxons and Norse. Celtic ancestry still runs deep in England. The Anglo-Saxon arrival did not mean the native Britons all fled into Wales. Many stayed, intermarried and became part of the emerging English nation. Their descendants remain among us today.
Likewise, Anglo-Saxon ancestry runs deep in the Anglo- Scottish borders, Lowland Scotland and beyond. Northumbria once stretched as far north as Edinburgh, and the peoples on either side of the modern border have shared ancestry for centuries. The English, Scots and Welsh are not unrelated peoples. Our ancestors lived, fought, traded and intermarried across these islands long before our modern borders existed.
Our ancestry goes back thousands of years, long before the modern British state existed. Britishness is more than a passport or a list of political values. It is a historical inheritance based on blood and DNA that no government can simply invent or erase.
Different nations. Shared ancestry. Ancient roots. Kith and kin. NO SURRENDER 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴

More than 1400 illegal migrants arrived yesterday on 12 boats. More than 3400 have arrived in the past 5 days.
Hundreds more have arrived today. Locals have gathered in the port on the island of El Hierro to protest against the arrival of so many illegal migrants.
Most of the boats are discovered just off the African coast and are then towed by the Spanish authorities for hundreds of kilometers to the Canary Islands “to rescue them.”

Over 60 Muslim men raped Scarlett West from the age of 14.
None have been convicted. Her father stood as Restore Britain’s candidate for Greater Manchester mayor.
There was no national outrage, no wave of arrests, and no accountability.
Russell Brand, by contrast, is facing the full force of the justice system over an allegation involving touching a woman’s breast 15 years ago. If the evidence shows he is a predator, he should be punished.
That is how a functioning system works.
The same system has produced nothing for Scarlett. The men who systematically raped and trafficked her as a child remain free.
This is not an isolated failure. It is a pattern in which certain offenders are pursued relentlessly while others walk amongst us.
Where are the 60 Muslim men who raped a child?

19-year-old Somali Idris Ahmed stabbed a 17-year-old Welsh teen at a packed Barry Island beach — victim loses his leg after multiple surgeries...
The teenager collapsed onto the sand, bleeding heavily and turning pale, telling those around him: "I am going, I feel myself going."
Idris Ahmed initially denied it, forcing the victim to relive the trauma in court. He changed to guilty on GBH with intent + knife possession.
The judge remanded him for sentencing on 27 November, with YOI on the table because of his age.
Unprovoked attack, life-changing injury, and he will be sent to a Young Offender Institution (YOI) instead of prison and will probably be out in a couple of years...

🚨 The Bank of England lost almost £17 BILLION of taxpayers’ money last year.
That comes directly from the National Audit Office.
That’s almost £46 MILLION every single day.
Here’s how absurd this is.
Imagine borrowing £100 at 5% interest… to invest in something paying just 1%.
You pay £5. You receive £1. You LOSE £4.
Now imagine doing that with HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of pounds.
And who picks up the bill? Taxpayers.
The NAO report estimates total losses could reach £146bn!
That’s £146 BILLION that could otherwise go towards hospitals, schools, policing or lower taxes.
Yet we constantly told that there isn’t enough money….
…Maybe if the Bank of England wasn’t losing tens of billions each year, there might be enough.
Our tax money is a joke to these people.

A suspected member of faculty attacked equipment, punched him in the face and attempted to strangle him. A member of Stand up to Racism put a megaphone against his ear while protesters surrounded and harassed him. He defended himself and his equipment.
Police arrested two parties, Bob and the suspected member of faculty in question.
