This is not a tourist tax, it is a tax on us all. It will not only increase prices for those visiting family and friends or those working away from home, like builders but it will also increase costs for business and hence fuel inflation impacting us all bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3wj…

You already pay a tax every time you stay in a caravan, a holiday cottage, a hotel - it is 20% VAT. Now you would have an additional levy on top - probably 5% - and VAT on top of that. A triple whammy of tax
