For far too many Americans, the price of eggs mattered more than democracy, and they favored electing a white male felon and career criminal over a competent, qualified woman of color. Unbelievably saddening.

DOJ has some doozies for why Trump’s Arch doesn't violate various statutes. Though the Arch commemorates the nation’s 250th anniversary (hence, 250 feet high), it’s *not* covered by the Commemorative Works Act, DOJ claims. ….

Those approaching the Susie Wiles “having kept a lid on things” debate through a political frame keep making serious errors.
Nobody said Susie Wiles is a saint.
The point is RELATIVE. She built a West Wing that runs on PROCESS.
Miller runs on grievance.
“Adult in the room" never meant good.
It meant the one person who'd rather lose a fight…than burn the building down.
By nature, human beings are quick to use the frames they know best, to try and understand what they are seeing.
With so much of this administration, unless the frame you know best is human behavior, traits and emotions, your frame will likely lead you away from what’s really happening, not toward

When his rich father lost his job, teenage psychopath Stephen Miller had to go to public high school in Santa Monica with Black & brown people.
This made him so angry he consumed racist literature & devoted himself to impersonating Joseph Goebbels.
Racism is his religion and now he has a demented, raging, dead-end president to manipulate. He will traumatize, deport & kill as many minorities as he can over the next two years. He feels he is destined for the role of making America a white nation.
Congress must wage full scale war on this particular psychopath. He cannot have a moment’s rest. He must be put on defense with every tool available. Everything the regime must be blocked. No money should flow. There are no limits to his sadism and he must not be provided with oxygen.
This speech by @StephenM is so deeply evil it’s hard to fathom it coming from a White House employee. This is pure Nazism.
The in-group is “morally superior,” “ordered,” “beautiful” & “normal.” The out-group is “abnormal,” “scarred” & “deformed.”
The in-group goes to church on Sunday (Miller is Jewish).
The out-group is “violent,” “junkies,” & “predators”
This is precisely how the Nazis spoke about their political opposition. It is a full-throated commitment to eugenics as policy.
In reality, you just need to watch Miller to see everything he claims to be afraid of: hatred, jealousy & violence. He is the most “deformed” man in America.
Finally, when Miller brings up the boogeyman of “Antifa,” it’s important to remember the original “Antifa” were antifascists in Weimar Germany who were the first people sent to Dachau.
There is no left vs. right anymore. There is life vs. death.
—
“The leftist is fundamentally motivated by envy, by hatred, by jealousy. The leftist looks at what is beautiful and what is good and what is natural and is filled with envy and hatred.
The leftist looks at a perfect family with the perfect life and a perfect job and perfect kids who goes to church every Sunday and is filled with the feeling of inadequacy and jealousy and they covet and they turn those emotions ultimately into a desire to subjugate, to oppress and to inflict pain and suffering.
It's not a coincidence that when you look at these violent antifa demonstrations and you see any photograph of those who were assembled to be blunt, not one of the people that is demonstrating looks like a normal person. Not one looks normal. They're all deformed in some way in their appearance, in their dress, in their mannerism.
Why is that? Why? You look at two photographs and you see a normal American street, you see an antifa protest. Why did the people that are violently demonstrating? Why is there not one normal looking person among them? Every one of them through the course of their life and their decisions has scarred their body and their appearance in many different ways.
The point in which their outer appearance becomes a manifestation of their inner hatred. Trust your instincts to all people and cross all civilizations. You know what normal is. You know what beautiful is. You know what good is. You know that families are right. You know that children are precious and beautiful and must be protected. You know that the criminal and the junky and the predator is a threat to normal, healthy living.
This is so much deeper than issues about taxation and regulation, although they're incredibly important. It's about normal, healthy, ordered living. And the violent leftists for these deep-seated reasons, going back to the earliest wisdom taught to us in the Bible about coveting.
And I'm not talking about rich versus poor. I'm talking about a much deeper kind of coveting. Coveting people who are morally superior. Who are superior in the simple, truthful way they live their lives. People that they look at who are happy and ordered and peaceful and contributing to the communities.
That burns an ember in them and that's how you end up with the horrors we've seen throughout history. Where good families are dragged that into the street and executed.”

The HHS Secretary remains silent about measles during the worst outbreak in the US in 3 decades. He’s posted hundreds of times this year on X but not a single time about the historic measles outbreak and the MMR vaccine which is the only effective (and very safe) way to protect yourself and your children.
Draining the swamp is a mandate, and we have an obligation to deliver. Entrenched interests have exercised power in Washington under both parties for decades. President Trump and I intend to keep fighting until the American people—not corporate influence—drive our health policies.
I stand firmly behind President Trump and the historic reforms we are advancing together.
In less than two years, this administration has rewritten federal dietary guidelines to emphasize real food, secured commitments from major food companies to remove petroleum-based synthetic dyes and other additives, launched systematic reviews of chemicals already in our food supply, and proposed requiring companies to notify the FDA before introducing ingredients they independently deem safe. These are concrete steps toward accountability that Americans demanded.
We have hundreds of other accomplishments but there's still more work to do. We must finish food-ingredient reform, advance our work on ultra-processed foods, and put children’s health at the center of federal policy. I will keep pressing those priorities across this administration and work with anyone in either party who will help deliver them.
The American people deserve a government that puts their health first. President Trump gave me a mandate to put prevention at the center of health care and end the chronic disease epidemic to Make America Health Again.

Q: The WSJ reported that the White House sent letters to conservative groups warning them that the White House is monitoring their statements and TV appearances. Why?

I came to understand after leaving MAGA that the coordinated, multi-decade demonization, dehumanization and vilification of Democrats, liberals, etc., fuel a lot of the rage and fear within MAGA. I am not defending anyone’s ignorance, but the right-wing propaganda and agitprop have long been effective, consistent and disciplined.
But this backfired on the GOP this election, and enough voters said "enough." Democrats can counter the mis- and dis-information by doing what many of their candidates did this year: going into communities, humanizing politics and showing that we agree more than we disagree on many issues.

Trump always goes from bad to worse because he's self-destructive. Hatred of others is a projection of hatred of self. Vice versa, if you love and respect yourself, that gets projected to the world.
Thus, multiple bankruptcies. Latest casualty is the GOP.
Nationwide response: Sir, you can walk that path alone.

Under Qatari Plan, Strait of Hormuz Could Reopen as Part of Iran Nuclear Inspections
After the bungled negotiations led by self-serving real estate grifters Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff went nowhere, Qatar stepped in and somehow made progress.
Obama's nuclear deal was working magnificently until a jealous Trump made the mind-numbingly stupid decision to rip it up — wasting billions and getting Americans killed in a catastrophic war. The irony of Qatar now having to persuade Tehran to allow UN nuclear inspectors isn’t lost on anyone paying attention.
The new deal would be even worse than Obama's, but since everything Trump touches turns to shit, that surprises no one. Under Qatar's plan, Iran wouldn't be required to remove its uranium stockpile from the country — or even down-blend it to cut the enrichment level.
