🚨 ShinyHunters suspect to remain in custody for another 90 days
A Rotterdam court today extended the pretrial detention of the 24-year-old Amsterdam man arrested in the Dutch investigation into ShinyHunters.
The suspect, identified by Dutch media as Pepijn van der S., is suspected of participating in the ShinyHunters hacking group as part of an alleged criminal organization.
Police also revealed that investigators found information on his laptop relating to two planned killings abroad. Authorities say there are indications he may have ordered the killings, leading to a separate suspicion of attempting to solicit two murders.
Police stressed that the alleged murder plot is separate from the ShinyHunters investigation.
Additional arrests have not been ruled out as the investigation continues.

Flamincome's USDT Strategy (0xb8d6...68a5) values its Convex/Curve position in impl.deposited() from BaseRewardPool.balanceOf(Strategy) × the Curve USDP metapool get_virtual_price plus its aUSDT reserves. Using a Morpho USDT flash loan the attacker bought USDP cheaply and imbalance-minted a large amount of the USDP metapool LP, deposited it into Convex and staked it FOR the Strategy (stakeFor), inflating balanceOfY()/per-share value. Redeeming YUSDT via VaultYUSDT.withdrawAll then forced the Strategy to pull ~544K aUSDT from Aave and pay out at the inflated price, netting ~$346K (victim strategy lost ~$595K in aUSDT+USDT).

If history is any indication, the WNBA should already be preparing to suspend Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers immediately while it conducts a full investigation.
We now have a video admission... and separate footage appearing to show cash changing hands over a wager involving their own game.
Historically, conduct of this nature has resulted in an immediate suspension for the remainder of the season, followed by a one-year ban.
Calvin Ridley suffered a similar fate when the NFL suspended him for an entire season, costing him his $11.1 million salary for that year. His conduct was arguably less severe because he was not active on his team’s roster when the gambling occurred and did not participate in the games involved.
So the WNBA has a very simple choice:
Enforce the integrity standards applied throughout professional sports... or explain why its preferred stars are somehow exempt.
The league cannot protect its way out of this one.
