My main takeaway after watching the film of Michigan vs Indiana was this:
Expecting Jason Beck to look halfway competent against Bryant Haines is like expecting Tommy Carr to outduel Josh Allen.
Best in the world vs a complete noob. Why doesn’t Michigan have one of the best?

It’s not just Oregon, it’s a CFB challenge. OL is HARD. And to be frank, I believe the money some young players are making has impacted their hunger and resolve to develop.
Development isn’t a one-way street. Some players think coaches wave a magic wand and BOOM, they become better players. It can be ugly and uncomfortable. And that’ll never change.
But early financial success can create a false sense of arrival. So the discomfort can turn to DISCONTENT real fast. So coaches have to now manage that.
We’re all witnessing a period of developmental purgatory while the game course corrects… and it will.

“Stay on that side” mentality makes no sense people should be allowed to revise their opinion with new info / tape
And this just leads to people getting dug in on wrong takes and ignoring all evidence just so they never admit they’re wrong

It's been eight weeks. Time to reset The Ceiling for every FBS team 📉📈
I ranked every program from National Title Contender to Burn It All Down.
Who am I sleeping on?

A number ran across while writing the Monday Morning Insider today: In five Big Ten games, Indiana opponents are averaging 1.97 yards per carry, across 180 attempts. #iufb

He's rated last in the country among new OC/DC hires in the advanced analytics. And was worst his 2016 year at Rutgers.
He's one of the worst OCs in modern college football history. And that's not overstating it.
In discussion for worst in the country twice a decade apart.

Nah. Mismanagement of a very talented roster of guys is what it is. Illinois was missing their starting QB and started a freshman. Oregon's backup is basically a 2nd starting QB with experience. That's the nuance that's missing.

Someone might want to tell Kyle the goal at Michigan is to be No. 1, not to almost beat No. 6.

We need better officiating in college football.
Too much money at stake.
This is an atrocity.

The good news Duck fans is that we now know the following:
1) Dylan Raiola is not QB1 for 2027. Oregon needs to hit the portal hard.
2) Drew Mehringer cannot come back after this season. They need new blood at OC.
3) This team needs a massive overhaul on their staff and their scheme. You cannot go out and recruit these top tier skill players and then not use them.

Day has let Timmons start, made Bo RB1 last year, Sanchez played extensively last year, etc. It was stated Henry got a little lax in effort past few weeks and that resulted in less snaps.
He made a true freshman the backup QB and put him the game when Sayin went down and is likely to be the starter next game.
Fans really gotta stop creating false narratives that do not exist. Day has shown he is more than willing to start freshman. Please do better.

I think they need to figure out what they are doing with their coordinators. They should have been in the running for a Big 10 championship.

There are zero teams this year even in the same stratosphere as 2025 Indiana.
