Somehow, I think this may be more impactful than those chants at the Bell Centre last week.
“No, I see stuff like that, ‘If Larks come, I sign the next day.'" I asked Quinn Hughes regarding the speculation of Dylan Larkin's destination impacting him, on Hellebuyck, etc and what makes this next move such a hard/important decision for him #mnwild nytimes.com/athletic/7720935…

We should temper any expectations of broad tariff relief if the congress flips.
Just such a fun chart here from @greg_ip. If only we could tease out some meaning. Ah, well, nevertheless. 🤣

A thousand times this. Health care delivery has been a steadily growing concern for more than thirty years. Yet it has been a basic tenet of Canadian politics that you can’t win a campaign on health care. So we’ve been like frogs in the pot as the temperature rises.
I wish the Carney government would approach health care reform with the same urgency and enthusiasm as economic reform. Complacency has bred dire consequences in both areas

Very saddened by the news that Cassandra Wilson has passed away. One of the most distinctive voices in modern jazz, Cassandra wove an alluring tapestry of jazz, blues, folk & R&B into a singular sound that opened up new avenues of expression for vocal jazz bluenote.lnk.to/CassandraWil…

Auto parts contracts for original vehicle assembly a specific to a company's model. Suppliers have the tooling, volume capacity & factories that deliver Just In Time. There are no options, nor warehoused inventories for a quick pivot. It takes years. /1

That the Americans could even suggest Canada drop bilingual labels on products shows how little they now understand this country. #cdnpoli

This is in striking contrast to today’s US employment report. Who is the “lack of a deal” hurting the most?
Replying to @MarcLevesqueEco
majority of industries posted employment gains, with one notable exception being public administration (government jobs), which declined by a substantial 14,500 jobs. Link here for more info: www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/dail…
