🧵Feedback is an area that often unnecessarily burdens teachers and steals too much time.
Feedback doesn't need to require a teacher to sit for hours and write comments on pages. In fact, that's often one of the least effective methods.

I am now exactly where I didn’t want to be: with my fifth grader who has an “independent reading” project due in a week. Telling him that I don’t think he should read the AdventureTime comic book, because he needs to finish the “mystery genre book at an 1100+ Lexile” for school.
Tonight, @dijjnn needed help with a creative task that I happen to be really good at. While this is certainly an effective way to show a neurotypical what ADHD hyperfixation is like, I think I might have broken him in the process. 😬🤷🏻♀️
