Are you a neonatal nurse or doctor involved in discharging babies from hospital? Please can you kindly complete Sarah’s survey if you haven’t already? Thank you!

I'm so pleased with the response to my survey investigating differences in the approach to discharge from neonatal care so far. I want to hear from staff at NICUs, LNUs and SCBUs! There's still plenty of time to take part: leicester.onlinesurveys.ac.u…

Significant report by the @EHRCwales to the UN Committee. I'll be publishing, along with the other UK children's commissioners, a report to the UN Committee early December. I suspect that there'll be a lot in common with this report out today.

Our latest report on children’s rights in Wales raises concerns about how the pandemic is exacerbating existing inequalities. Concerns include more children being pushed into poverty, widening educational inequalities and worsening mental health. Report: bit.ly/2IJndXP

ALT Ruth Coombs: “The impact of the pandemic has been particularly acute for children and young people, affecting all aspects of their daily lives from their mental health and education, to home life and more. We must ensure that decisions being made now consider the long lasting effect on our children’s futures. The Welsh Government must make sure it is adhering to its obligations and put children’s rights at the heart of decision making in Wales

Pain is so important as it directly impacts quality of life.
In a nutshell:
Chronic pain prevalence is high in children with predominant #dyskinetic and mixed #cerebralpalsy.
Pain occurs across multiple body locations.
Less recognized locations include the face, jaw, and temple. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/… @ClareMcKinnon3 @AusACPDM
