One thing about communists (and fascists too) that I find most annoying is acting like their views are anywhere close to mainstream. Every time I check whether Soviet or Chinese historian is legit I have to check if their critics deny holodomor or deaths from great leap forward

Every Marxist I know reads the Financial Times, but I don't know a single liberal who understands a Wikipedia entry level definition of socialism or capitalism itself. You can't really bridge such intellectual differences
