Sad to see Cristiano Ronaldo’s international career end like this for Portugal 🇵🇹
He deserved a massive send-off like Lionel Messi got with Argentina 🇦🇷
But he’s made his choice, and it truly is the end of an era
No more Messi and Ronaldo in international football

Maybe if Massimo Rivola sees what other sports have done cancelled their events in the Middle East
He would understand how ridiculous this decision is 🤦♂️ #MotoGP

This is only going to end one way & the manager Jaissle gone
Let these players are just as much to blame for our diabolical performances this season as they been here longer then the manager 🤬

I still watch MOTD but not as much
With busy lives many can't sit down to watch on weekends
Plus with live games and instant highlights on social media times are changing
It’s great it’s still going but I feel not for much longer
Match of the Day is football's comfort telly. The longest-running football television show in the world has stuck to the same basic principle since it first aired in 1964: highlights of English top-flight football on a Saturday night on BBC One.
But since the 1990s, when Sky Sports began airing regular live Premier League matches, question marks over Match of the Day's position in the football media landscape have persisted. Now, in the streaming age, its relevance is being tested like never before.
If you can watch the games live, see the highlights elsewhere and get longer, more in-depth analysis via your favourite podcast or YouTube show, it is legitimate to ask the question...
What is the point of Match of the Day?

This is very very worrying 😬
It’s the managers job to pick a team that fits his style & philosophy
If the current players are not doing that then they are on the bench
Feels like we are in big trouble if Jaissle doesn’t turn this round very soon #NUFC
😠 Matthias Jaissle says his NUFC players did not adhere to his match plan, which was NOT to play long balls
"There is big frustration & disappointment. We could not not transfer what we saw in the week, training in a high level. Since the start of the game, not much was seen. That is difficult to understand.
"We were not brave enough to break the line and play on the ground. We saw it in training, but there was almost nothing to see from these aspects in the game. In possession, this was not the level we wanted to see.
"If you just play long balls, it’s not the style Osula prefers & that was not the plan. We need to analyse this in depth, why we could not start the game how we planned. I’m responsible for that, to make it work.
"We have a clear identity of how we want to play. To bring the opposition in stressful situations high in the pitch. We spoke about creating 1-on-1 situations. The plan was not to shoot the long balls."
