A lot of endeavour and robust challenges. Nobody can doubt the effort from either side but Sunderland vs Leeds has not been a game boasting lots of quality. Two fine pieces of goalkeeping from James Trafford have kept the scores level. Moving closer to establishing himself as England's number one? #safc #lufc
Feels like a significant win for Matthias Jaissle especially given how much better second half performance was compared to the first. He is consistenly getting a postive reaction at half time and is capable of perceptive in game tactical tweaks. Newcastle needed a good result this weekend and delivered one #nufc
There is a whiff about this 💩#nufc
Michael Carrick was the laidback supply teacher who let the kids have fun when they should have been learning and now they are failing their exams #mufc
These are early days for a new manager in a new league but he has to adapt and so do the team #nufc
Matthias Jaissle’s side are too easy to score against and too easy to stop scoring. Vertical football needs adjusting so is a formation change needed? #NUFC telegraph.co.uk/football/202…
Repugnant. History will not be kind. The USA has elected this man who no longer seems to have a grasp of anything coherent or factual.

Ten years ago today.
In just the last few days: Trump made a deal for the U.S. to buy Russian diesel, an economic lifeline for Putin; he and Elon Musk blamed each other for an order that slowed down Starlink satellite connectivity over Ukraine, hampering the country's defenses during a devastating Russian attack; and Trump waived sanctions on Russia that Congress, led by his late friend Lindsey Graham, had pushed for.
Now, Putin has proposed a summit with Trump and Xi to decide Ukraine’s fate for them, bulldoze a century of international cooperation, and frame Russia as an equal to the U.S. and China.
We’ll see if Putin’s puppet continues to dance on his strings.

Newcastle United have not started the season well and the boos that rang out after their home defeat by Aston Villa were an amalgamation of frustration and concern that has been building for weeks.
For Matthias Jaissle, the problems are mounting and the frailties and weaknesses are becoming more apparent with every game.
@LukeEdwardsTele identifies the issues and analyses what needs to change if Newcastle are going to get back on track ⤵️

That was pretty dreadful. I can’t see what the style of play is supposed to be. The first half was as bad as anything we have seen at St James’s Park for years. Have any of the new signings impressed yet? We knew this was going to be a hard season but they’ve got to show more than that #nufc
