Kudos to Bama. Well played.
That game is on Lane. After today he is:
15-27 vs ranked
12-26 vs top 20
10-21 vs top 15
6-18 vs top 10

For clarity on the end-of-half play for Syracuse just now vs. Clemson: Per NCAA rules, you need at least 3 seconds on the clock for a spike. So that was a weird but correct play by Orange veteran QB Steve Angeli there -- which the ESPN2 broadcast did not pick up on or mention

With today's win, Clemson is headed to the postseason for the 22nd straight season, extending the 4th longest active bowl streak in the country.

The book on Clemson is this - if a player who has no business being in the backfield comes in - a LB or DT or OL or whoever - that player is going to get the ball.

Ashton Hampton is the best CB in the country. And we have the best kicker in the country.
Sucks we also have the worst offense in the country.

Can’t wrap my head around throwing to the back up slot receiver instead of either TE in the first half. We’re also one week removed from the TEs scoring BOTH passing TDs against FSU and have given them no opportunities in the RZ.
We complicate things offensively for no reason.

Jarvis Green got the first 3 carries of the game, including a 53 yarder, and hasn't touched the ball since.
