Only Morgan Freeman decides when Morgan Freeman dies. teapawt.net/FoxNews/status/6734242…
Morgan Freeman uninjured after private plane crash in Mississippi fxn.ws/1jH7AwZ
Cannot agree more. Its crazy how much heat he's gotten from Ravens fans...EDC is a good GM. he has unquestionably put this team in positions to succeed more times than not.
I do understand if they move on from him too. But the revising of history theyre doing to him is unfair
I am all for moving on from EDC and bringing in a new mentality at GM, but here’s the thing:
1. EDC offered Linderbaum a record setting deal but the Raiders unreasonably offered him 10M more than the highest paid center which was far more than the Ravens could offer.
2. EDC took some of the money, and put it toward John Simpson, one of the best available free agent guards in a lackluster market.
3. DeCosta selected Vega Ioane with his 1st round pick, who’s been an absolute stud so far in his career.
4. EDC then signed 3 good centers to take over and compete at the position, whom all ended up suffering season ending injuries.
5. He traded for an All-Pro center to solidify the offensive line.
6. In Jurgens first game as a Raven, EDCs 1st round guard Vega Ioane suffered an injury.
7. In Lamar’s first game back, Vega was an inactive due to his knee injury.
It’s very easy to say EDC didn’t build a competent OL, but there really isn’t much more EDC could’ve done in a singular offseason. The injury bug just hasn’t been on our side.
The window is over for this "core" group of players. Gotta find new pillars to rely on and set the tone on a weekly basis.
This current group of Marlo,Stanley,Ro,Mandrews,Henry, Madubuike - simply dont move the needle.
Look at how non-impactful they are. Its just the truth.
Aaron Rodgers is 43 years old and still playing football. Lamar is a winner who genuinely loves the game, and I realistically believe he has another 8–10+ years of football ahead of him. Even as he gets older and loses some of that elite speed, he’ll still be quicker than most QBs in the league. This idea that our championship window is closed is ridiculous. Stop with that talk.
I think its worth approaching Lamar about a Brady-esk contract - to be able to pay for a better team around him moving forward.
We've been incredibly unlucky with injuries this year. Developing an O-Line unit w/o consistency is v tough
Im trusting the process w this coaching staff..
Its time to turn the page of some (if not most) of these players though.
There's just no way you dont blow this team up after this year. Maybe even EDC too.
Turn the page, find a new "core" to move forward with with Hamilton leading the D. Lamar leading the Offense
Can't disagree more on the last point. Way. And I mean WAY too early to start laying the groundwork for post Lamar
Give credit to this defense today, theyre playing winning ball.
MAN I wish Lamar didnt break his thumb
TWO 1sts and a 4th? Simmons is maybe the best Interior DL in the league
But thats a little rich
Trade summary, per @TomPelissero:
Bears get - Jeffery Simmons
Titans get - Two 1st-round picks, 4th-round pick
Dame hitting dagger 3s in a Blazer uni again?
Is it time to come out from underneath my rock as a Blazers fan?
If Lamar gets hurt hes injury prone and we need to consider trading him...As if good QBs are just SOOO easy to come by or something.
No real heart or belief in the team through the good and bad.
As we're literally 1 game back in the division through 7 weeks.
Ridiculous.
The constant doom and gloom from a team that's 4-3 is EXHAUSTING.
K-Ham caught fire for saying it in the past but he was correct. Some of these Ravens fans are BEYOND spoiled.
Every loss means the world's ending.
If EDC doesnt trade for EVERY star hes overrated
Assuming Nelson does sign a extension w Seattle... that'll probably be his last in the NFL at age 32.
Jurgens is in year 2 of his contract at age 27.
As a Raven fan myself, breathe my guy.
