Here’s a list of 7 photonics stocks focused on optical components, lasers, transceivers, and networking gear.
All benefiting from AI data centers, high speed optical communications and silicon photonics demand:
1) $LITE - Lumentum Holdings: Leader in optical components, EML lasers, and 800G/1.6T transceivers for AI data centers.
Congrats 👏 $NBIS
I’m seeing a lot of posts about Nautilus on X lately.
$NAUT is down 26% today.

Let that sink in!

Pretty much.
As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers.
SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue.
That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.
🚀 BIG NEWS for $ASTS
AST SpaceMobile just unlocked Brazil 🇧🇷
✅ Anatel approval: 30 MHz S-band spectrum
✅ Secondary use of up to 20 MHz in the 700 MHz band
✅ Agreements signed with 4 regional operators
✅ 4 new gateways planned on the ground
Brazil = 210M+ people + massive coverage gaps.
Half the highways and 2/3 of farmland still lack 4G/5G.
AST is building the third layer of connectivity: cellular broadband from space, directly to normal smartphones.
Abel Avellan: “We’re giving every mobile subscriber a path to coverage wherever they live, work and travel.”
This is how you connect an entire continent! 🛰️ 🌎

NOT ALL NEOCLOUDS ARE CREATED EQUAL

I don't know who needs to hear this, but I'll say it again.

When all you're waiting for is satellite launch news but all you get is a 3 minute video with literally zero important information:
The AST SpaceMobile network is taking shape, in orbit and on the ground.
Today, over 60 gateways are in various stages of completion, installation and planning worldwide.
Initial, intermittent coverage targeted before year-end 2026 in the U.S. and other key markets around the world.
A new layer of connectivity, designed to connect directly to the smartphones people already use.

$RKLB: Rocket Lab’s 98th Electron launch successfully completed 🚀
100% mission success ✅
Everything’s great but… can we have some new launches already? $ASTS

“Love Nebius. No tagline needed!” - @JensenHuang about $NBIS
Is Serenity trying to tell us this is the $ASTS bottom and we should load the boat? 🤔
I don't own $ASTS and not advice, but if you're capitulating just because a stock price went down..
There's little investment thesis or conviction in the first place.
People always have multi-year ideas like $RKLB becoming the next $SPCX or AST becoming the next Starlink competitor.
Kinda reminiscent of retail favorite names like $HOOD back in 2024, or $NBIS later in 2025...
But there's always capitulation periods along the way like the time hedge funds shorted Nebius to $70 in Dec/Jan, after calling it the Neocloud winter.
Or the wave of negative analyst DGs on Robinhood on the drop back to $17.
Or even macro scares like April 2025.
So lot of retail investors never gave their original longs time to play out.
Fast forward, a lot of these popular retail names do end up cooking... so kinda sad seeing how quickly sentiment turns.

THE SOVEREIGN AI REVOLUTION IS IN FULL FORCE.
We are helping our customers build superintelligence they own, with data they control.
McCarthy Building fine-tuned Nemotron in Foundry on labeled RFI data in the Ontology to identify project risks before they escalate, outperforming frontier models at significantly lower cost.
Tampa General is using sovereign AI to better protect patient data, keeping sensitive data and model processing local, and fine-tuning Nemotron models to classify LLM traffic against its own risk and privacy standards.
NVIDIA is using Palantir AIP and Nemotron to accelerate its own supply chain, shortening the path from wafer to deployment, spotting disruptions before they hit production, and keeping its models under its control.
L3Harris is bringing AI workflows in-house and building its own models trained on proprietary data to support critical defense use cases and the warfighter.

Jensen considers $NBIS a startup because it’s still going to 100x from here.
