Love the "Community Climate Champions" - something @CambsEmergency identified as needed. Perhaps spend the grant on developing a digital toolbox for them - connecting them and helping them with comms & programmes

"This report from the IPCC is a litany of broken climate promises. It is a file of shame, cataloguing the empty promises that put us firmly on track towards an unlivable world. We are on a fast track to climate disaster" - @antonioguterres on the #IPCC report released today.

Proud to be included in this report highlighting the importance of community action on climate change. Something we're hearing with increasing frequency but sadly lacking in central government thinking.

Today we are delighted to publish our new report in partnership with @groundworkuk @Grosvenor_GBI @EdenCommunities on how local action is the missing piece of plans to fight climate change. #COP26

It is. When people start to see either their employer, council, school, businesses they frequent, etc. engaging with such action, it will stimulate far wider, positive change. We will look back in 12 months and cheer. 👍🏻 – at Cambridge, England
