The kind of Day 3 prospect I don’t want to overlook.
I was watching Tennessee’s offensive line when No. 22 caught my attention.
80 tackles in 2025. Telander reads runs early, attacks downhill and plays with real physicality.
I see flashes of Fred Warner’s anticipation in his game. I’m not calling him the next Warner, but I like what I’m seeing.
The concern: Pass coverage. He still has work to do in space.
Draft stock: Currently projected in Rounds 4–6.
MY VERDICT
I’m keeping Telander on my 2027 board. If his coverage improves, I think he has a legitimate chance to outperform his draft position.
This is exactly the kind of linebacker I look for before the rest of the market catches on.

Let’s be real. The officials and George MacIntyre’s decision to not pitch it on 4th down LOST the game. South Carolina didn’t win it. Tennessee should be asking the SEC office to ban the former Bama QB from officiating any future game.
