People genuinely don't understand this: 1. The global average IQ is 84. It's not the only factor but it's a major one. 2. Most successful ethnic groups have an average IQ of 100-105. The highest (Ashkenazi Jews) sit at about 107-112. 3. In order for a society to thrive, it needs to have an average IQ over 100. 103-105 or so seems to be the threshold. At 103-105, you get peak England, the Scandinavian countries or peak Germany. At 100 you get France, and at 98 Spain. The difference between global domination and also-ran is surprisingly small; just 2-3 IQ points. Another 4-5 and you're a basket case country like the Philippines or Bulgaria or modern Greece. 4. IQ can, within a population, shift solely through genetics, by 0.5-1.0 points per generation. Social factors can magnify that effect by 5-7 points. Consequently, the functional IQ of a population can change enough in one generation for a society to go from "world domination" to " basket case." A more realistic outcome is that this can take 2 or 3 generations to happen. Well, that is what happened. People often misinterpret the Flynn effect and think that IQs are rising but they're not. They're declining. 5. America is now too low IQ to maintain its position as world hegemon. More so, current birthrate trends have us rapidly entering not just "also ran" territory but "basket case." The only reason we will stay on top is because we're absurdly rich compared to the rest of the world so we have a long way to fall before anyone catches us. 6. Successful countries become successful usually through a long process of breeding themselves into a higher IQ and then matching that with a social organization that maximizes it. All it takes is one bad generation to destroy what took centuries to gain. This is why today's Greeks aren't like the Greeks of golden age antiquity, and today's Romans aren't like the Romans of old. 7. The highest IQ populations today are both not reproducing but also replacing themselves with low IQ populations. Even Israel is only 1/3 Ashkenazi with lower IQ groups making up the majority of the country. It is worth noting that the Haredi (the cohort with the highest total fertility rate) is about 80% Ashkenazi, but I have no available data on their average IQ. My point is that IQ does not appear to be an evolutionary advantage in the modern age and as such, it isn't being selected for. This suggests that we're in a race against decline. We need to solve the IQ problem through technology before we simply run out of smart people living in functioning societies.
America is a Latin American country now, so let me explain politics: We elect communists to kill the rich. But communism brings poverty & crime. So we elect fascists to kill the communists. But the fascists hand the economy to oligarchs. So we elect communists to kill the rich.

I am a professor at the @UofCalifornia. I am appalled by the conduct of one of its Regents, Scott Galloway, appointed in August by Governor Newsom. @profgalloway is one of only 26 voting Regents entrusted with governing a university system serving hundreds of thousands of students & employing tens of thousands of faculty & staff. Twice, first on a live Pivot episode featuring Hillary Clinton & on Prof G with Fareed Zakaria, Galloway called Elon Musk a “traitor to the West.” He invoked Julius & Ethel Rosenberg, who were executed for espionage, and declared that Musk should be held to the same standards. He didn’t explicitly demand Musk’s execution. But invoking the deaths of two convicted spies while calling an American citizen a traitor makes the implication hard to miss. Musk has not been convicted of treason. Indeed, “treason against the West” isn’t even an actual crime. Now imagine UCLA alumnus @BenShapiro, appointed a UC Regent, saying the same about George Soros. Would the Governor defend his right to serve? Would Regent leadership shrug and call it provocative commentary? Or would there be demands for resignation? But there’s something worse here than another of Scott’s trademark podcast rants. He sits on the Regents’ Academic & Student Affairs Committee. The committee’s charter says it oversees student conduct, faculty conduct, academic personnel, & campus climate, among other responsibilities. This is not some honorary title. The Board sets university policy, controls institutional budgets, & appoints senior university leadership. You can unsubscribe from a podcast. A student who finds Scott’s comments morally repugnant can’t unsub from the Regents. UC bylaws require Regents to serve the public trust with a “high degree of ethics and candor,” including as private citizens. Professors owe students intellectual integrity. Regents bear an even greater duty: they govern institutions that teach it. Yet a Regent serving on the committee responsible for student & faculty conduct invokes executions while labeling a fellow citizen a traitor. What does that say to our students? That intellectual restraint is expected of the governed but optional for those who govern? That standards of conduct depend on whether the target of your rhetoric is politically fashionable to despise, as long as the audience applauds? This isn’t about defending @ElonMusk. He needs no defense from me. Nor is it about silencing Scott. As if that were possible. He’s free to express his opinions, however reckless they may be. But freedom of speech is not freedom from accountability, and holding a university office of public trust is not an entitlement. There is an enormous moral chasm between exercising your right to speak recklessly and demonstrating the judgment required of one of the 26 people who govern our great public university. The UC Board of Regents isnt a podcast sponsors can boycott. It’s a public trust. One final irony. At @NYUStern, Galloway teaches Brand Strategy, including a session on crisis management. His own prescription for leadership in a crisis is unequivocal: acknowledge the problem, have leadership take responsibility, and “overcorrect.” He’s praised the departure of corporate leaders as evidence of effective crisis management. Now Galloway himself sits on the UC Board of Regents. Will he hold himself to the standards he teaches, or does accountability apply only to other people’s institutions? Professor lecture thyself! I believe Scott Galloway should seriously consider whether his continued service on the Board of Regents is consistent with the ethical standards and responsibilities of that office, or whether he should resign. I welcome the opportunity to discuss these issues with Galloway directly, including what standards we should expect of those entrusted with governing the world’s best university. Scott, you have an open invitation to join me on @Into_Impossible for an honest conversation.

It gets worse. Vox Podcast media is owned by longtime Tesla Board Member James Murdoch (since 2017). CONFLICT: Owning a podcast platform where Scott Galloway uses self-described “incendiary” language construed by many as a dog whistle to assassinate the CEO of the SAME company of which you are a Board Member is not a Good look. James Murdoch had a fiduciary responsibility to Tesla - and its shareholder’s - first. Cancelling the podcast is one option to clear up this clear conflict. As a Tesla shareholder since the IPO I am less than thrilled.

Here’s what’s happening: The CT was a stepping stone to the CyberCab. But 30X steel is way to expensive to work with. So the CT is cancelled, and the line moved to the unboxed process with RIM panels instead of stainless. Then a new CyberTruck & SUV will be built with RIM.

I got a PIP once. I had already gotten another job so I just started it without resigning. Stopped showing up at the old job. Got two paychecks the whole time they were running out the clock to be able to fire me. Best job transition ever.
The Performance Improvement Plan (or PIP) period is your paid opportunity to find something else; do not squander it.

BTW- I was being fired due to internal politics, not actual performance. So the PIP was beyond incoherent. The HR drone got mad when I started asking detailed questions about what I was supposed to improve. Went full longhouse on me.

Cancelling a vehicle after only 2 years of production tells customers to not trust you. Spare parts are scant as it is.
The Tesla Cybertruck order backlog is currently far more than we can make before dismantling the line for Cybercab expansion around June/July next year. We will add an extra shift to try to get all orders done in time.

For all you gun owners now living in blue states, as a lifelong Washington State resident and gun owner, I have some advice for you. Make sure your vehicle can make round trip journeys to a free state with cash and make friends with a gun shop there. Stock up on parts and ammo, they might try to ban random things without notice. Keep 30k rounds at all times, you might literally have to shoot your way out of the state. Don’t lose anything in boating accidents, but also keep some items on the down-low. Wear gloves when loading mags, that self defense shooting might anger your local prosecutor.

In December 1960 the most famous writer in the world was checked into the Mayo Clinic under his own doctor's name, officially for his blood pressure, and given up to fifteen rounds of electric shock to the brain, and when he came out he could no longer write a sentence, and six months later he was dead. Ernest Hemingway was 61. He had the Nobel Prize, the Pulitzer, the houses in Cuba and Idaho, and a head that had been battered more times than anyone could count. He had been blown up by a mortar in Italy in 1918, split his skull open in a London car crash in 1944, been thrown from a motorcycle by a shell in France the same year, and walked away from two plane crashes in Africa on consecutive days in 1954, the second leaving fluid leaking from his skull. He drank enormously. By 1960 he was paranoid, convinced the FBI was following him, unable to finish the Paris memoir he had nearly completed. The Mayo psychiatrist, Howard Rome, treated it as depression and gave him the treatment of the day. Electroconvulsive therapy was the modern answer in 1960, quicker than analysis and tidier than the lobotomy it had replaced. Hemingway went home to Ketchum in January. He was worse. Asked to write a single line for a presentation volume for the new President Kennedy, he sat at his desk for a week, could not do it, and wept that it just won't come anymore. In April his wife Mary found him in a state that terrified her, and he was flown back to Rochester for another course of shocks. At the Mayo he told his friend A.E. Hotchner what the treatment had done. His memory was his capital, he said, the thing his whole trade was built on, and they had wiped it and put him out of business. "It was a brilliant cure but we lost the patient." The clinic discharged him at the end of June as improved. On the morning of 2 July 1961, at home in Ketchum, he took his own life. The psychiatrist who has studied his head injuries most closely, Andrew Farah, argues that the man in Rome's office was not simply depressed but living in a brain wrecked by a lifetime of concussions and drink, and that electricity was the last thing it needed. The FBI files released in the 1980s showed he really had been watched for years, which is a hard way to learn that a patient's paranoia was partly a report. None of that got a hearing in 1960. The diagnosis was in the textbook, the treatment was in the textbook, and the patient's complaint that it was taking his mind was in the textbook too, listed as a side effect, expected and temporary. They treated the most observant man in American letters for being wrong about what he was seeing, and the last thing he saw clearly was what they had done to him.

A few days ago, Austin Payne, a 15-year-old White boy in Georgia, was hunted, shot, and left to die in an abandoned apartment by four black teen males. He called his mom after being attacked and shot, telling her he was dying. She found his body the next morning after searching all night for him. Charged with his murder: Jansquincey Donaldson, 15; Omari Marion, 15; Adarious Wallace, 16; Detravion Parker, 22. National media has been completely silent. If four White teens had done this to a Black kid, it would dominate cable news for days. Instead, silence. They covered the Nolan Wells case wall-to-wall for a drowning. Yet this kid was hunted like an animal and brutally murdered, and because his skin is White, his story will never be told. I couldn’t imagine being his mother and getting that call. Rest easy, Austin. 💔 #whitelivesmatter

As many of you know I've been dissecting coups for years. I've read 1,000's of declassified CIA documents, congressional hearings, read over 175 books on the CIA activities all over the world. There are patterns. Not a single coup worked without the military as part of it. Look at the failed coup in Indonesia in the 50's for example. Despite Eisenhower's CIA repeatedly tried to co-opt Sukarno's military they failed. They found a few military on other islands that they used in order to establish a stronghold in order to launch bigger operations closer to Jakarta. Sukarno's military found back and eventually shot down a CIA plan with an a CIA pilot and the coup failed. It was not until a decade later when they murdered several loyal military members and had Suharto waiting in the wings that they were able to overthrow the Sukarno government. You should all be familiar with that coup because Obama's dad was a member of the military that worked with the CIA and his mother was actively involved during USAID. If you look to Chile and the Nixon's CIA (don't forget he was Eisenhower's VP) of Chile, you'll find the same pattern. The CIA needed the military to overthrown the government there as well. Their military leader would not bend to the immense pressure to abandon Allende. They killed him. Their groomed new military leader (Pinochet) would go on to murder Allende and implement one of the most horrifically cruel regimes. USAID and their Office of Public Safety taught their national police how to kidnap, torture and murder any citizen that demanded their democracy be reinstated. They labeled them terrorists against a military dictatorship that the US immediately recognized as a legitimate government despite it being ran by a mad man. The plan they have in store for America is no different and they will stop at nothing to achieve it. Why do you think the CIA has brought all their trained terrorist into America? MS13? Originated from the CIA backed death squads in El Salvador. The CIA trained cuban exiles terrorists that support the CIA back Batista? All brought to the US. You just saw one of the CIA trained terrorist brought back to the US murder a national guard troop in Washington DC. This is all documented in historical documents. It's written about in numerous books like Killing Hope by William Blum. None of this is taught in America because you would immediately be able to recognize the patterns. The template is there, sitting on a shelf. Everything that is playing out in the US right now has been done in various countries all over the world. Trump, to his credit, has been eliminating the funding mechanism that facilitated these operations. USAID, illicit drug trafficking, covert oil sales, all being dismantled. The banks that laundered the money are being identified and held accountable. The old golden calf that almost no one talks about is the National Endowment for DEMOCRACY. Why? Because you will find all the congressional members there. John McCain was in charge of the republican arm IRI the entire time he was a senator. They funded these coups right along side the CIA and USAID. Knowingly. When congress screams about DEMOCRACY, this is what they are referring to. Sitting members of Congress have actively participated, via funding, the overthrow of governments, Ukraine is an example. McCain was there the night his efforts paid off. You need to understand what these ppl are capable of and what they are actually trying to accomplish before you decide you want them in power. There is no reasoning with these ppl bc they aren't reasonable ppl. They are on a mission to destroy America as we know it. They important 20+ million ppl to terrorize Americans, steal your wealth and deployed a biological weapon to steal an election. They created a target list (which they did in every single country they overthrew) to round up Americans and the FBI carried out those orders. Doctors participated in the killing of Americans with a biological weapon. Trump has demonstrated what an actual war on drugs looks like. Every administration from Nixon on spent billions of dollars on a 'war on drugs' that facilitated the international narcotics industry. Heroin and cocaine are chemical weapons. When Nixon set up the DEA, he created a special unit called the dirty dozen which were all CIA assets, including Lucien Conein. He was France's narco trafficker from Vietnam who worked for the CIA after the French were defeated in Vietnam. They've made trillions of dollars from the deployment of these chemical weapons. Hell, Reagan paid for his Contra program with cocaine. Their entire criminal enterprise is being dismantled and if you don't think they won't fight to the bitter end to save it, you haven't been paying attention. Stealing an election is nothing compared to what they're capable of doing and have done. Understanding history allows to to put into context the actual threat. I'm not convinced that most ppl understand the real war that is being fought and the consequences of losing it. The attacks on @StephenM for championing the removal of their operatives that the democrats fight tooth and nail to keep inside America...the attacks on @PeteHegseth for ensuring the Pinochets are gotten rid of...are all part of an overall plan to destroy America. If you don't want to suffer the fate of those countries where their coups have been successful you need to pray the Trump and his team are successful in dismantling the evil forces at work here in the United States.

Four days ago Tucker Carlson warned in a long post that Trump was preparing to drop nuclear bombs on Iran. His post laid out all the "details" of the plan. The post got almost 100 million views and 400k likes and was shared everywhere across social media and MSM. Carlson warned that November 7th (two days from now) was the day that Trump would be deciding to drop the bombs. He said that there was a good chance that Trump would start WWIII, which Tucker said would be "short and final" because it would be a nuclear holocaust. This is the first video that Carlson has put out since the midterms. It's almost two hours long. At no time during this video does Tucker mention the upcoming "nuclear holocaust" that he said may be coming in two days. Think about that. In this video Tucker did celebrate the end of Trump and Trumpism a bunch of times, but there was no mention of the possible upcoming nuclear holocaust that he just warned the world about in excruciating detail. I've never seen anything like this. I'm just blown away. Tucker and many others who supported Trump in 2024 have been doing this sort of incomprehensible sabotage since early 2025, way before the Iran War started. A month into Trump's second term there were big name podcasters already declaring his presidency a failure. I know a lot of them have always hated Trump but were forced to support him in 2024 because it would have killed their brands to support Kamala. She was just that bad. I also realize that it is way more profitable to attack the person in the White House than to support them. The more outlandish the attack, the more clicks. That being said, I still don't understand this psychotic, life-consuming obsession with undermining and destroying this administration. They would never do this to a Democrat president.
The Republican Party just imploded. Here’s why it happened and what happens next.
