The first phase of XRPFi proved demand. XRP became active capital on Flare with FXRP. ~$200M XRP TVL anchors a $440M ecosystem, with 3.4M+ FXRP DeFi transactions across 16.5K+ users — the largest XRPFi ecosystem in the market. The next phase is about scale. Three pieces of the stack come online to get us there: → More vault choice. What changes for adoption is where FXRP can be minted from, surfaces people already use and trust. When a tagged XRPL payment can mint and route FXRP without a parallel “learn our flow” detour, integrators finally meet holders on familiar rails.

FIP.16 has passed with 98.06% in favor. A major milestone for $FLR. This goes beyond growth at @FlareNetworks. It is about making value accrual more visible, measurable, and durable. The mechanism is set. Visible growth comes next.

What is FIRE? FIRE (Flare Income Reinvestment Entity) is the governed pool that collects protocol fees from FAssets, Flare Smart Accounts, Flare Data Connector, Flare Confidential Compute, and captured value from DeFi activity with protocol-owned block building. What does it do? Primary mandate: reduce FLR supply to the maximum extent possible — burn and buyback. Secondary: reward asset issuers, support dApp liquidity, fund Foundation operations. Who is involved? Initially, FIRE is administered by the Flare Foundation, with a committee assembled over time. FIRE can allocate funds only within its defined mandate. If the community deems FIRE unaligned with its interests, it may vote yearly to adopt joint governance.
