Canton Foundation is expanding its engagement in Taiwan. We’ve signed an MOU with the Institute for Information Industry, welcomed Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC) as a Foundation Member, and formed a strategic partnership with the Digital Asset and Future Capital Market Association of Taiwan (DAFCMAT). “We hope to bring global experience into local discussions, identify practical needs and build a foundation for progress through training, workshops and ongoing dialogue.” said @0xThomasChou, Head of APAC at Canton Foundation.

Let's take a look at this past week in the Canton ecosystem. ▫️ CIP-0129, Universal Burn and Synchronizer Pricing, was approved. ▫️ Dev Hub V3 went live, with an AI-first interface that lets builders ask about any CIP and find the right tools to build on it. ▫️Canton Foundation, @Ledger, and @OpenZeppelin announced the Devcon Builders Evening in Mumbai on November 5. ▫️Canton Foundation announced collaborations with blockchain stakeholders in Taiwan, including work on tokenized Taiwanese assets. ▫️The Tokenomics Committee approved new Featured App guidance for network participants. ▫️@KaikoData joined the UK Treasury’s Wholesale Digital Markets Champion Taskforce, alongside @digitalasset.

The Protocol Development Fund comes with reporting requirements written into governance. Under CIP-0100, the Foundation publishes quarterly reports covering receipts, balances, commitments, disbursements, and outcomes, alongside an annual audit or attestation.

Canton Forum in Singapore brought together institutions, builders, and partners from across Asia and beyond. @YuvalRooz opened on @CantonNetwork's direction and Asia's role in institutional adoption. @wesarn_real and @Viv_Diwakar followed with a fireside on infrastructure, capital efficiency, and connecting global markets. Panels covered institutional momentum in Asia, the convergence of TradFi and DeFi, and Singapore as a hub for tokenized assets. Thank you to everyone who joined.

Let's take a look at this past week in the Canton ecosystem. ▫️ @The_DTCC released details of its Tokenization Service, with 25 securities available at launch on @CantonNetwork. ▫️ More than 800 nodes migrated to Canton's BFT infrastructure on Saturday. ▫️ @Circle is preparing to issue USDC natively on Canton. ▫️ The @PartyLayerKit team is building Payvol, an open-source programmable payment layer for Canton. ▫️@Zebec_HQ integrated @C8Wallet by @Cantor8 into its financial product suite. ▫️@CantonStrategic released its Q3 2026 Canton Network report.

Building on Canton should mean building on what's already there. The Protocol Development Fund funds shared tooling and infrastructure from 5% of emissions, paid out against milestones and reported quarterly. @CantonNews_Org broke it down further 👇

Let's take a look at our September Ecosystem Recap. ◽ Shinhan Asset Management joined @CantonNetwork as a Super Validator through CIP-0121, an affiliate of Shinhan Financial Group and a core governance node in Korea. ◽ @TreasurySpring joined as a Super Validator through CIP-0122, a cash investment platform and regulated fund manager serving over 1,000 institutional clients. ◽ LSEG joined as a Super Validator through CIP-0124, one of the world's leading financial market infrastructure providers. ◽ @Ekidenfi went live on mainnet, bringing order book execution, private trading workflows, and on-chain settlement into one venue. ◽ The inaugural Canton Summit took place in New York, bringing the ecosystem together for the first time. ◽ Canton Foundation's @JPandya26 and @0xTeagan spoke at @ETHTaipei, covering selective disclosure as a missing primitive for global state chains and the decision axes institutions use when weighing private versus public chains. ◽ The team traveled to @KBWOfficial, with @Viv_Diwakar delivering a keynote on the Stablecoin Stage. ◽ Our first X Space featured @0xTeagan alongside @HeslinKim of @ZenithFdn and @0xKremsky of @CumberlandSays covering what is live on Canton now and what gets built next. ◽ Canton Builders Office Hours ran twice. One session featured HackCanton builders demoing Umbra, Tirai, and CrossDesk. The other featured Benjamin Roy of @Noves_fi and Daniel of @FTPWhatSoEver on private data infrastructure and agentic payments. ◽ @Cashen_cc onboarded more than 65 platforms to its CC locking marketplace and joined Canton Foundation's Collateral Subcommittee, chaired by @The_DTCC. ◽ @TRIZE_io joined the same subcommittee, contributing to collateral mobility and tokenized repo workstreams. ◽ @EdelDotFinance and @ZenithFdn both joined the DTC Digital Assets Solutions Industry Working Group, contributing to the standards behind @The_DTCC's Tokenization Service. ◽ @SquidRouter is now natively integrated into @Send wallet, built on Canton's CIP-103 dApp standard. ◽ @PixelPlexinc built @Intercepta_ and integrated it into CC View and @ConsoleWallet, bringing sanctions screening, risk monitoring, and fund-flow tracing to Canton. ◽ @HackenClub introduced its Daml AI Auditor, surfacing Daml-specific risks before manual review begins. ◽ @TitanExchange_ went live on testnet. ◽ cLTC, @Litecoin issued on Canton by @GreywickDigital with support from the @LTCFoundation, is expected live by the end of 2026.
