It's important to note that game testing has been ongoing for three months, and we can say that we already have an active player base.
Points collected during this phase will be transferable to the game, along with the tanks that can already be purchased.
Likewise, we have considered every feedback and the game will be improved in the new build. Tnx frens ✌️

I seem to notice a lot of this lately. Nami, Midnight, etc etc. Lots of amazing people are building and bringing new users, capabilities, and experiences into the ecosystem. IOG is a builder. We aren't different from any DApp company in Cardano.
We have products and services and are here to bring millions into the ecosystem. I don't understand why when we start doing that and deploy millions in capital, some are actively hostile.
It's also a bit frustrating when we are always open, direct, and transparent about plans and projects that somehow some place polar opposite motivations. Apparently CIP 1694 is some attempt to permanently maintain an oligarchy when it's the exact opposite. Lace is here to be the best wallet in the entire cryptocurrency space and expose all Bitcoin and Ethereum users over time to the Cardano ecosystem. So when we buy Nami to help accelerate a great simple user experience, this is bad for Cardano? Really? Midnight which makes Cardano the leader in data confidentiality tech is somehow abandoning Cardano!?
If we are going for number 1, then we need to stop being drama queens and focus on building, partnering, and welcome new positive developments. People are here to do a job. The mission hasn't changed. Get it done.

Why does the entire Cardano community seem to despise growth. Always attacking every move that happens in our ecosystem is getting old

Tournaments and Pre-game Antes - Find out why our in game economy is not like the others:
Battle Borgz will run large scale tournaments to which players can enter using their BORGZ tokens. There will be a flat rate entry fee for all participants and the fees will be collected to create a prize pool for the tournament. Top ranking players will receive an allocation of the prize pool depending on their performance.
This model allows us to reward dedicated players without adding any extra BORGZ tokens into circulation. All rewards were already part of the circulating supply.
Players will also have the option to participate in "antes" using BORGZ tokens pre-game. As with tournaments, these antes will be collected and distributed amongst the best performing players who added to the prize pool. Again, this method of rewarding gameplay does not deflate the circulating supply of BORGZ at all.
Adding an optional reward system allows players a chance to receive BORGZ through performing well in the game, but does not exclude those who wish to play the game for entertainment purposes only.

I’m not disappointed that we have so many obvious grifters in the space.
I’m disappointed that because of our own greed we support them. This industry will continue to decay so long as we do so.

This is one of the more sensible sentiments I have seen today.
Really appreciate your thoughts today Viva!
I do have an idea to put forward to possibly remedy the current issue.
I also want to find the correct channels to go through here - any help to get this to the right feedback channels for Catalyst would be great...
Also - I would appreciate the #Cardano Community making some noise about this if you agree!!!
My idea for this is that we need to have a combined Multi-Tiered voting system tied into a 1 Wallet verification SSI (Self Sovereign Identity) that protects identity whilst preventing an Overwhelming vote.
The whole idea of this method is to allow voting in the same manner we have now while stopping people from overwhelming the voting system with whale wallet voting - and yet still respect that those wallets DO deserve extra voting power!
1. 1 wallet to KYC to a decentralised DID (Digital Identity) - This does not need to tie to your identity directly on the network (you SHOULD remain anaonymous) - I am developing an SSI myself to this end.
Because it is tied to a persons KYC it can prevent multiple wallets being registered to the voting.
2. Snapshot taken as usual - this would be used to decide what tier of voting allocation a wallet should be given based on $ADA held. The Cardano community can all help decide how tiers should work here - but I will provide an example to work from...
e.g. A standard voter with 500+ $ADA that is eligible to vote could be given a voting power of 100 points.
A holder of 10,000+ $ADA could be given perhaps 200 points.
More tiers could be added to a MAXIMUM tier is reached at say 10+ Million $ADA who recieve perhaps a voting power of 1000 points.
These are as examples only - you could lower or raise this to needs of the system.
3. Voting would be done as it is done now.
You could vote up or down on a project, but you could also choose to split points across multiple projects or use them all on one.
However, you would USE UP your points allocation as you vote - so you can vote to a MAXIMUM of 1000 votes (dependant on your tier) and then you are DONE.
I feel that this method would decisively prevent the overwhelming majority votes that we have just seen in Catalyst Fund 10.
Keeping the tier number small and managable means that enough people voting on a project would easily overwhelm any high tier voters if the general populace voters disagree enough to vote against/for in the opposite way to the high tier voter.
NOTE:- We could also include at a later date a method that rewards regular users of the chain with higher tiers of voting than their normal $ADA tier to reward participation in the network - thus making a bit of personal and social value to the use of Cardano itself.
Please provide ANY ideas you have that could improve on this - this could be a fairly immediate fix shorter term for sure though.
Let's take our time - work through the possibilities and get this right.
Because - if we do - this is one POWERFUL tool for the Cardano Ecosystem as a whole!
I Really want to see discussion head towards the finding of remedies and future-proofing of the Catalyst system from here on in - rather than just beating a dead horse about the 'what went wrongs' over and over again - get creative - let's deal with this once and for all!
It really is time to rally and deal with the issue at it's CORE!
@Cardano_CF @cardano_whale @IOHK_Charles @InputOutputHK @CardanoFeed @CardanoThor @QuasarSure
Next thought on Catalyst ideas for Fund 11 & looking for feedback;
I had a lot of great convos today w/ ppl across our community, & almost everyone echoed the same sentiment - "Catalyst needs improvement"
I have a few possible ideas, but I'm not sure who would be the right party to have that dialog with.
Additionally, when something has been long set on an expectation, as in "1 ada = 1 vote," it can be uncomfortable for ppl to open up debates on the current process, or share ideas that might improve that governance skew when it is arguably, at least in this instance, a plutocracy.
Regardless, I feel it's important that we still have those discussions, because these issues if left unaddressed, could be more detrimental to the ecosystem in the later stages of governance if it removes the majority from meaningfully participating or providing workable feedback.
I believe that we will figure this out over time, & especially w/ the functional introduction of DIDs in the near future, but in the interim, I want to work w/ everyone to find potential middle-grounds that won't drive the majority away from "governance" participation in this crucial stage of its maturity.
