When I was 11 I entered a “James Bond Jr Create-a-villain contest” in the back of a Ninja Turtles comic and won 1st place nationwide. I was a poor kid in a small Oregon meth town living in low income housing, my dad was homeless and my mom was almost always gone working. One day, this giant box with a Super Nintendo and a bunch of toys and video game showed up. It was magical. They put me on the front page of the local paper.

Old cartoons had verity and different flavors, it wasn't just brown haired white boy has silly adventure with friends" and saying so is an insult to everything that was built before just so you can feel better about your slop that has no true flavor and just following the wave itself.
