Roosters confirm Dom Young, Daniel Tupou & Lindsay Collins all won’t play tomorrow night. Dealing with minor niggles but all expected to be available for selection in week 1 of the finals series.

Payne Haas will undergo surgery on his Lisfranc injury next week. He had initially avoided surgery & returned 4 weeks post injury - playing 76 minutes in Round 26. This surgery type usually comes with a 3-4 month recovery period - challenging rehab for important part of the foot

Jamal Fogarty has been ruled out for the Raiders this week after suffering a minor hamstring injury at training (via @Super_Couch). Tough to return to play within 10 days of minor hammy strains due to the elevated re-injury risk - could mean Fogarty’s season is over.

Nicho Hynes a confirmed starter for the Sharks in Round 26 - an 8 week return to play after he required surgery on a tibia fracture & ruptured syndesmosis. Impressive return time with a complex injury like that. Siosifa Talakai won’t play - succumbing to a lingering calf issue.

Tom Trbojevic came off with a significant facial laceration & shoulder injury. Positive news is he passed his HIA - not so positive news is he will go for scans on a suspected AC joint injury. Had previous instability episode in right shoulder (2020) so adds to the concern.

Josh Curran won’t play for the Bulldogs tonight, succumbing to the AC joint injury he has been playing through for a number of weeks. Mostly a pain management issue (minimal risk of long term/permanent impairment) but painful +++. Bulldogs indicate he could be out til Round 27.

Cody Walker failed to finish the Rabbitohs Round 24 game after suffering a concussion. Direct knee to the head collision - was deemed to have shown Category 1 signs of concussion. Will enter the concussion protocols & miss next week with the mandatory 11 day stand down period.

Dom Young off early icing his hamstring - but the good news is Roosters indicate there are no injury concerns and it is just a precaution with the game in hand. Young was returning 2 weeks after suffering a minor hamstring injury (his 2nd of the season).
