You cannot give someone a greater gift than a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Withholding that gift on purpose is an act of hatred.
Cardinal Vesco says Catholic Church is ‘not there to convert’ in interview on evangelisation
Cardinal Jean-Paul Vesco has said the Church is “not there to convert”, arguing that proselytism is “poison” and that Christians should approach other religions through fraternity rather than seeking conversions

We just crossed 7,500 subscribers on Substack and we’re grateful to everyone who has joined us.
In an internet built around outrage, clickbait, and hot takes, 7,500 people have chosen something different: serious Catholic thought.
For nearly 50 years, Catholic Answers has been on the front lines helping people understand and defend the Faith through radio, books, articles, and now Substack.
The platforms can change but mission doesn’t.

When people tell me that I should stop being Catholic, all I hear is them telling me to betray God and reject the gifts He's given me.
The only reason I'm still alive is because of the Catholic Faith
In 2015, my brother died, I was working hours that isolated me, and I was at the lowest point of my life. When I asked to be put on a day shift so I didn't have to be alone all the time, I was moved out of my shop and kept on night shift. Darkness surrounded me in more ways than one.
Thank God I had converted 5 years earlier because the Catholic Church gave me something real to foster my relationship with Jesus. Not sappy guitar sessions that make you feel good. Real steps to keep going even when, ESPECIALLY when, I didn't feel like it. Things like going to mass on Sunday kept me going.
The Church's clear teaching against the coward's way out was also the solid grounding that I needed to not give up.
Then there was the teaching of praying for the dead. I love my brother. Praying for my brother has been incredibly healing for me. Knowing that I can still help him gives me a sense of peace and hope that could only be from the Holy Spirit.
After all I've been through, I could never walk away from this amazing Faith that God has given us.
Parenting tip:
When buying baby bouncers, look for the ones that can handle the weight of older siblings. You might understand weight limits, but the 5 year old won’t. If you’re spending $300 on something, you’ll want it to last for multiple children.
Kinda had @OVTweetmarck and @TheCatholicEngr in mind when I was writing this
The full episodes of Bl Fulton Sheen's Life is Worth Living that are up on YouTube are superior to every podcast currently available
You don't owe anyone an explanation on why you don't like AI. Your intuition is enough for you to avoid if if that's what you want to do.
However, if you're going to condemn others for using it, you're going to need a lot more than "bad vibes"
Apparently sending your kids to school just means that they watch YouTube all day.
I hope no Protestant ever reads this book because then they would learn all about the secret beliefs that we have about Mary. It would do untold damage to the Church
Replying to @catholicpat
Catholic cult teaches
1) Mary was a bad wife to Joseph by refusing to consummate their marriage
2) Jesus & his disciples especially their first pope were liars by refusing to believe they were Jews when they said it themselves
3) God was created since Mary is mother of God

Setting fires is easy. You can burn the works of greater men and get on the news for it. But this is not how culture is built.
It’s easy to sit back and criticize the French for what’s going on right now, but take a look in the mirror. Are you building something or just tearing down the works of others?
