I hate this concept of growth being some sort of checklist (one that the victims had no say in creating btw). And people using that by saying oh he did xyz so you cant be mad anymore. We have such a perpetrator focused view of accountability instead of being victim centered
Yet, even after he said he agrees, men are arguing on his behalf. I don’t even think it’s about him anymore, I think it’s probably a combination of guilt and fear, and possibly their prolonged enjoyment of putting women in their place. We’ll never truly be safe.
we live amongst the stupid and easily manipulated…and they vote🫠
In a new poll, 15% of Americans said they believe between 1 and 5% of NCAA athletes are transgender.
14% think between it's between 6 and 25%.
Meanwhile, an NCAA spokesperson confirmed that the current number is "effectively" zero

Ppl in the replies are giving op a hard time, & he’s reminding them each their country ain’t shit. On this app you can be chat banned for a month for questioning Israel, you can get a visit from police/fbi/secret service or jailed for criticizing the gov too much. Glass houses.
The Estée Lauder heir, is here acting as if he’s washed his hands of politics, but he’s still entrenched with Trump and in fact gave him the idea that America needed Greenland. He may be done with Bibi, but he’s still meddling.
On this Israeli election day, I’d recommend reading this extraordinary @haaretzcom interview with billionaire Ronald Lauder, president of the World Jewish Congress and once one of Benjamin Netanyahu’s closest confidants.
One of Lauder’s most striking conclusions: “I realized at the end of the day that Israel really didn't want peace, but they wanted dominance.”
This is coming from someone who helped launch Netanyahu’s political career, introduced him to powerful figures in American politics and media, and secretly negotiated with Hafez al-Assad and Rafik Hariri on his behalf in the late 1990s.
In one of the interview’s biggest revelations, Lauder says Netanyahu agreed to a comprehensive peace deal with Syria and Lebanon, including withdrawal from the Golan Heights, but ultimately refused to sign it for political reasons.
“He chose politics over peace. He put his political future before the deal.”
Now 82, Lauder describes his profound disillusionment with Israel’s direction. After decades of supporting Israeli and Jewish institutions, he has sold his Tel Aviv apartment, given away his Be’er Sheva property, and says he has no intention of returning to Israel.
He warns that Netanyahu’s dependence on figures like Ben-Gvir and Smotrich is damaging Israel, alienating diaspora Jews and eroding support in Washington.
The interview is also full of fascinating details about Lauder’s role in Netanyahu’s political rise. The two became close friends in the 1980s, when Netanyahu was Israel’s ambassador to the UN, speaking almost daily at times.
Lauder says he introduced Netanyahu to speech coach Lilyan Wilder to improve his public speaking and, crucially, to Republican strategist Arthur Finkelstein, who would become instrumental in Netanyahu’s electoral success.
When Netanyahu left New York to pursue a political career in Israel, Lauder threw him a farewell party attended by some of the most influential figures in American media and politics, including Rupert Murdoch and the head of the New York Times.
Lauder recalls opening doors for Netanyahu and helping him cultivate the relationships that would underpin his rise to power.
What makes this interview so revealing is that Lauder is no longtime critic of Israel. He had been a committed Zionist, a Republican power broker, and a man who spent decades financing Jewish institutions, cultivating relationships with Arab leaders, and pursuing diplomatic openings on Israel’s behalf.

Lula credited fan accs(for many artists) for coming together to promote & mobilize, & it was still the PEOPLE, who did the damn thing. This is a shameful headline for Variety to use to credit Taylor, & I say that as a swiftie. All credit ultimately goes to the ppl of 🇧🇷

Hozier called on the Irish government to approve visa applications for students in Gaza during a surprise appearance at the first show of Macklemore’s “Free Palestine” tour:
“55 students in Gaza who are awaiting for their visas to be approved for scholarship places they earned and are waiting for them here in Ireland. And the government has no approved their visa applications… It’s baffling why it hasn’t been solved yet, but if you want to sign a petition, there it is behind me on the screen.”
Girl, stfu
This type of fearmongering about Israel is wrong. It is not a winning strategy for any state. It does nothing to help Michigan Democrats win up and down the ballot in eight days. Do we need to lower costs by building more homes, securing people’s health care, and creating a fairer federal tax code? Yes, we do!! How we do so is not by blaming the high costs of our goods on the only Jewish homeland in the world. I want to see Democrats succeed at every level, and that means keeping our focus on lowering costs for Michigan families and reining in this out-of-control President.
Sorry if I give a fuck about another country falling into fascism. The fucking Amazon would be destroyed if Lula didn’t win and Brazilians would suffer immensely under a fascistic regime. Genuinely, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!
The sentence should have ended after “poki’s entitled to her opinion”…that’s it, nothing can be added that will help this situation, so stop. It is up to himself to rehabilitate his image, and no one should be expected or pressed to accept it. That’s it, end of.
lmfao, there are true red states you could have chose, but you chose purple moving blue…seems like a skill issue on your part.
The primary reason we moved from NJ to NC was to be political refugees. We decided we shall never live in a blue state again. Democrats are communist tyrants.
It was disheartening to vote today and see all the local judgeships and county offices had no Republican candidates. The Democrat runs unopposed!
NC has three big problems: Raleigh, Asheville, and Charlotte. We are on the edge of Mecklenburg County, which is where Charlotte is. Definitely not safe here.
