A Major Milestone in Cardiac Care! A state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) has been completed and made fully operational in record time. Alhamdolillah, the first Coronary Angiogram and Angioplasty have been successfully performed! Our first patient, Muhammad Siddique, 65 years old, a resident of Sheikhupura, presented with an Inferior Wall Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack) complicated by Complete Heart Block. An emergency Coronary Angiography was performed, followed by successful Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) with stenting of the Right Coronary Artery (RCA). Alhamdolillah, the patient is now recovering well. This is more than just the launch of a new facility; it is a significant step forward in bringing advanced cardiac care closer to our people. Patients even from Sheikhupura and surrounding areas will no longer need to travel all the way to Lahore for life-saving cardiac procedures. Timely, state-of-the-art cardiac treatment is now accessible closer to home. A proud achievement, a major milestone, and a big change for the people of Punjab.
