When will DSA be voting for expel the three DSA-LA councilmembers that endorsed the candidate that denies the genocide?
If you want to be righteous purist, don’t be hypocrites and fail to remove them. Be consistent.
The DSA National Political Committee has voted to unendorse and expel Nithya Raman
She has until October 31 to express clear direct support for BDS to retain endorsement, and until January 1 to condemn weapon shipments for Israel out of LAX to remain a member of DSA

NEW: @nithyavraman’s campaign has filed ethics complaints accusing a @KarenBassLA-backed super PAC of using an AI clone of Raman’s voice to deceive LA voters.
The campaign alleges callers can have live conversations with an AI version of Raman without being told it’s artificial intelligence or who’s funding the operation.

Dan Rather: "What’s happened at CBS News is sad. This is a further example of big billionaire corporate power in bed with powerful people and the presidency to get control of these operations for their benefit."
“Donald Trump has expressed his extreme dislike for ’60 Minutes.’ So now, he’s gotten his way. He cleared the way for a consolidation of corporate power, which in turn cleared the way for doing what’s been done to ’60 Minutes.’ The wreckage of CBS News is everywhere, and continues to this moment. I don’t see how to stop it.”

Dan Rather wasn’t familiar with Bari Weiss before she took over as editor-in-chief of CBS News.
“You judge a person by what they do, and what she’s done is she’s quickly turned CBS News in the direction of being a version of Fox News, perhaps a little more palatable. But I didn’t know her beforehand, and I don’t know her now. Frankly, we didn’t hear much about her until she was rewarded with many millions of dollars for her company [‘The Free Press’], and then paid to come in and start destroying CBS News.”

How much has AIPAC's strategy changed this election cycle? We looked at the numbers. In the 2022 midterms, AIPAC's super PAC gave just $700,000 to unaffiliated PACs, a tiny fraction of its political spending.
That number has ballooned to $13.1 million.
AIPAC's super PAC funded attack ads through groups with progressive-sounding names.
Here are a few of them:
👩 Elect Chicago Women
⚖️ Pro-Choice Majority Action
🗳️ Elect Democratic Women
None of the ads disclosed AIPAC’s role. levernews.com/aipac-is-spend…
NEW: Just 1% of AI firms make up 80% of spending at OpenAI and Anthropic. Most of those big spenders are other AI startups burning venture capital to build more AI.
Low cost Chinese AI is good enough for most people.
Now data center projects are getting canceled, but companies want to blame local opposition and power shortages. As @DeanBaker13 points out, that makes a much better headline than admitting the demand isn’t there. #aibubble cepr.net/publications/ai-bub…

Time to make sure the genocidaires and their cheerleaders are held to account.

That's on top of $263 billion in tax breaks from the corporate rate cut in 2017.
Their collective tax rate for 2025 is the lowest we've ever tracked.
