Corporate America will be buying $TAO
JUST IN: Corporate America is rapidly shifting toward open-source AI, as companies including AT&T, Airbnb, & Deloitte seek cheaper alternatives to closed models from OpenAI & Anthropic. — NYT

Bitcoin teaches patience. You spend 4 years getting called an idiot, endure a 50% drawdown, question every decision you’ve made since middle school, watch a dog coin outperform you for three months, and then one random Wednesday your net worth increases by the price of a suburban house while you’re microwaving leftover chicken.

This is what I mean when I say TAO is still in early Adopters phase. People have no idea why hold TAO to even begin with, so let me explain; 1- you’ve got Subnets registration costs ( which is currently between 500-1000 TAO) more subnets slots means more demand for TAO for registrations 2- you’ve got Subnets Stakers, those who wants to mine Subnets alpha tokens by staking their TAO into a specific subnet, the more successful these subnets are the more people will want to buy/ Stake to earn them (which can only be done via TAO) 3- you’ve got subnets miners who provides real computing power In exchange for TAO 4- TAO locked into subnets pools, more subnets means more TAOs will be locked into pool which can create some sort of supply shock because TAO has a limited supply of 21M tokens also when next halving occurs and cut rewards in half from 3600 to 1800 only, by the law of supply and demand and if hypothetically speaking demand remains the same TAO price must go up. Hope these can answer your question on why you hold TAO.
Open for discussion: If my company builds a Bittensor subnet, miners and validators improve the product, and I make millions selling it to customers. Why do I need to buy $TAO, and how does my company’s success create value for $TAO holders? $TAO moonboys, help me understand.

This is what is happening
Milton Friedman said we can't have free immigration and a welfare state He was wrong Turns out that if you create pathways for illegal immigrants to vote, then actually, 100% of the time you INEVITABLY end up with both a welfare state and free immigration Because incentives determine actions Whichever politicians realize they can essentially use taxpayer dollars to fund welfare to import voters will exploit this hack ruthlessly 1. Offer welfare 2. Allow illegal immigration 3. Let illegal immigrants vote (they will 100% of the time vote for more welfare) 4. Win office 5. Raise taxes, offer more welfare, repeat It's a self-reinforcing feedback loop Allowing illegal immigrants to count in the census and vote cements this loop Literally only 12 states require proof of citizenship to register to vote. Look it up. It's horrifying. That is why 15m illegal immigrants came across the border in 4 yrs. It is game theory the only smart thing to do This ends in disaster

We’re focusing too much on decentralisation and too little on profits. We need attractive companies that can scale to billions. Not governance tokens with 0 revenue and ‘voting power’.

Incredible to see @Nvidia, @Microsoft and @Meta sharing an open letter that effectively validates the mission and architectures being built by $TAO and base:0x0c03ce270b4826ec62e7dd007f0b716068639f7b Absolutely huge 🔥
For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter. AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country. Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty. The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models. images.nvidia.com/pdf/Open-W…

Look. I don’t care what your politics are. This is happening at scale all across the country, and there are real, serious people out there that want to convince you all our problems would be solved by taxing people more. It’s fantasy land
Nick Shirley uncovers an adult day care in Flushing, Queens with 7,000 phantom members. Nick: “This public document says you have 7,899 members.” Employee: “No, we don’t have 7,000 members.” Nick: “So you’re overbilling then? You’re getting paid $1,600 per patient — that’s how you got $12.9 million in 2024.” Employee: “Please leave.” American taxpayer dollars at work.

Yesterday, my daughter, Kyra, passed away peacefully after a 9 month and 11 day fight against one of the cruelest diseases I’ve ever seen up close. She was diagnosed with Brain Cancer, specifically Glioblastoma. I have felt all of your concern and love for these months and wasn’t ready to be anymore specific than I was. Kyra was a 28-year-old young woman who loved deeply and who is impossible to describe in 280 characters. While her life got stolen from her, she handled these months with courage, poise, and resolve. And all I want is for no family to feel what we feel today. For no young person to suffer the way she did. In lieu of flowers, if you are moved to make a memorial gift, please consider “The Kyra Fund” (fundraise.gbmresearch.org/th…) This fund will be used solely to research treatments for Glioblastomas.

predicted this over a decade ago Decentralized money is a threat to centralized control, and the easiest way to control something is to tax it.
NEW: Illinois Governor Pritzker has signed a 0.2% tax on crypto transactions into law including transfers between personal wallets, with the Crypto Council for Innovation calling it "the most punitive digital asset tax in the country."

In 2009, #Bitcoin was born from the abuse and failure of a centralized financial system Today.. we’re watching the same thing happen with centralised intelligence #Bittensor is our best shot to give power back to everyone Different era.. same fight $TAO

We are not building decentralised AI because it sounds better. We are building it because the off switch cannot belong to one hand. If AI is going to run the economy, you cannot have it gated behind one API, one vendor, one jurisdiction, or one policy mood. Viva la bittensor:native
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…
