Flare’s role in XRPFi extends to applications running on other chains.
FXRP uses LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard to move across supported networks, including Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Monad, Katana and Hyperliquid.
The mechanism is straightforward: FXRP is locked in an adapter on Flare, and an equivalent amount is minted on the destination chain. Returning to Flare burns that representation and releases the locked FXRP.
Supply stays unified across networks. FAssets on Flare remains the system responsible for minting FXRP against XRP and redeeming it back.
