This is a straight forward lie Wes. You know what i said was both Labour and Conservatives hollowed out defence. Be man enough to admit it. Lies dont hide your own record. The last government to spend 3% of GDP ( without all your treasury tricks) was a Conservative one. MOD now spends 2.2% GDP and you are cutting day to day spending this year and next. many veterans, like me who served under a Labour government never forget the Snatch Landrover scandal. If you want to be taken seriously as a Defence Secretary stop playing child like politics. Earn your respect by sticking up for the armed forces, fighting the Treasury for real funding not spin and be honest about Labours part in hollowing out. At the moment your fake claims on 2.7% GDP coupled with under funding day to day spending are a perfect example of hollowing out. @haynesdeborah @larisamlbrown

🚨BREAKING: @Conservatives gaining ground with young voters! 🇬🇧 New polling suggests 17% of 18-24 year olds now intend to vote Conservative - more than the Lib Dems and Reform COMBINED! As a young councillor, I believe the Conservatives have an important offer for the next generation: lower taxes, greater opportunities and a future built on aspiration. Young people deserve a voice - and a future full of opportunity.

The Conservative Party will win the next general election because when Britain is unsure struggling and our security is seriously threatened, people look for real strength, resolve and leadership and only the conservatives can deliver that. Strong defence of our country, rewarding hard work and restoring pride in Britain. With Kemi leadership and determination, we will get this country back on its feet and give Britain back its mojo.

Tony Abbott was born in London, raised in Australia and went on to become Australia’s prime minister. If he led the Conservatives, I doubt many of those attacking Kemi’s background would care where he grew up. And to the Farage supporters posting racist filth: every slur exposes the weakness of your argument. You are not defending Britain; you are disgracing it. Wrapping bigotry in a Union Jack does not make it patriotism. It makes you a racist holding a flag.

Oh dear, Nigel. When the slogans wear thin, it’s back to the same tired routine: stoke resentment, stir division and call it leadership. Britain deserves answers. You’ve got a scapegoat and a megaphone. What a pathetic little pipsqueak you’ve become.
Labour and the Tories opened the floodgates to millions of migrants from across the world. Reform will achieve net negative migration, deport every illegal migrant and reverse this madness. End of.

Britain cannot keep grinding through the same bloody doom loop: squeezed incomes, unaffordable homes and families wondering whether their children will ever have a better life. Decline must never become something we simply accept. If you want more money in your pocket, safer streets and home ownership within reach, help fight for it. Join the Conservatives. Back Kemi Badenoch. Britain needs ambition, backbone and the determination to change course.

Bloody encouraging, but the only poll that matters is the exit poll. We’ve won nothing yet. Every vote must be earned, every seat fought for.

Trump must have his brain in his arse if he thinks Churchill would congratulate him. Churchill would have recognised the difference between confronting a tyrant and shaking his hand while calling him a friend. Putting imaginary praise in a dead man’s mouth isn’t leadership. It’s vanity.

It is sickening that the USA is now lifting sanctions on Russian fuel, and transparently ridiculous to blame Ukraine for the spike in prices that obviously began with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Putin is murdering innocent Ukrainian civilians every day. The Ukrainians are fighting for their lives. And yet the White House is apparently determined to force American drivers to bankroll Putin’s slaughter. It won’t work and I doubt it will make much difference to the price of fuel. If we want Russian oil and gas back on the world market then let’s end this war - with a free, sovereign and independent Ukraine.

Trump is a foul, evil creature.
Trump: "Zelensky could have settled this war many, many times, but he chooses not to." Sick liar! This rant is full-on Russian propaganda straight from the mouth of the US president. There is no deal on the table that Ukraine could have accepted. All Russia has ever suggested is for Ukraine to surrender so they can kill us quietly behind the cover of occupation, like they did in Bucha and Izium, and like they are doing now in Oleshky and across the occupied territories. Trump: "We said, 'You can do whatever you want to Russia, don't hit the refineries because that's a world problem.' And he wants to make problems for the world. He wants to make problems for our farmers, our ranchers with diesel fuel." Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil infrastructure are crippling Russia's ability to wage war, not the American ranchers or farmers, who suffer because of failed war in Iran. Buying diesel from Russia directly fuels their war.

One million young people are out of education, employment or training. Labour is wasting their potential. Our Get to Work scheme is tough love: turn up, learn skills and apply for jobs. Refuse, and your benefits are cut. If you can work, you should work. It’s that simple.
Too many young people are leaving school and signing straight onto benefits. Our plan will get them to work instead.
