新しい論文をMetabolism誌 (IF 16.7) に発表しました。サルコペニアに対する薬物療法のRCT26件を統合。ミオスタチン阻害薬、テストステロン系薬剤、グレリン受容体作動薬などを対象に、筋量・筋力・身体機能を含む「Muscle Health」の視点から治療効果を検証。一部に改善を認めるも、効果は小さく臨床的意義はなお不確実。
筋量増加だけでなく身体機能や自立につながる効果の検証が重要です。薬物×運動×栄養がベースか。

昨年12月に佐賀高橋先生と立ち上げた #肝創 は、私にとって最もワクワクするプロジェクトの一つです。純粋な好奇心と善意から始まった、シンガポール🇸🇬と日本🇯🇵の研究交流への挑戦。「うまくいかない」と言われ続けましたが、今では医学生4名以上、若手医師4名がこのモデルで学び、活動しています。

#LiverTwitter excited to share our latest study using plain 2D ultrasound and #AI to reproduce #VCTE like results. The CNN model demonstrated good agreement with FAST and moderate agreement with AGILE 3+.
