Marketers have known for years that vanity numbers make nice slides and weak decisions. A follower spike looks great in a report, but if it was automated or farmed, it tells you nothing about who will stay
What I like in this clip is the alternative @TheDAOLabs offers. Instead of counting the crowd, look at what people produced: research, guides, consistent participation that can be checked. WhoTweets combines reputation with volume, so quality has real weight in #SocialMining
For brands working in the #DAOVERSE, that is a far better signal to plan around
Follower counts and likes are still treated as the main sign of influence. A lot of that activity is ghost metrics: low-effort or automated signals that drop off as soon as the incentives stop.
Real contribution looks different. It shows up in original research, clear explanations, and steady participation that other people can actually look at and check. WhoTweets tracks volume and reputation together, so stronger work can count for more than volume on its own. Social Miners earn Rewards when the output holds up under review.
One can be bought. The other can be examined.

Four Days Left In Season 1.
@rarelistio
I've been watching the Rarelist leaderboard all season, and the final days always tell the truth about a campaign.
The points stop mattering as much as the pattern. Who kept showing up when the pool was nearly counted.
Season 1 closes on November 12 with a $50,000 pool behind it. Eleven thousand creators shared one season, and the timeline felt different because of it.
What stays after the season ends is not the ranking. It's the habit of posting something worth reading.
That's the part I'm keeping.

Turtle is not waiting for Q4 to prove the next product.
Turtle is a liquidity distribution protocol that connects protocols needing liquidity with LPs looking for steadier incentives, and @turtledotxyz sets out the detail in its Q3
Group revenue reached $1.04M in Q3, up from $898K in Q2.
Hare by GSR is a credit desk that launched on 7 October, and its first vaults are Hare USD Earn and Hare Gold Earn.
Both vaults are powered by Aave, and the gold vault works with Paxos.
A distribution layer that already earns revenue can carry a new credit product without asking LPs to trust a promise first.
Hare's first vaults open in Q4, and the test is whether the same distribution that worked in Q3 keeps working at a larger scale.
Loud accounts fade, useful ones stay. What @TheDAOLabs posted today is basically that sentence with a scoring system attached
WhoTweets rates reputation as seriously as volume, so a careful explainer can outweigh a stream of filler, a rule the #DAOVERSE should keep

Bots liking bots is not a community 😂
The latest from @TheDAOLabs puts it nicely: follower numbers can be bought, but research and clear explanations can be examined by anyone. WhoTweets tracks both reputation and volume, and honestly the #DAOVERSE benefits

As someone who grew up with Vietnamese Robusta, I was really curious about this one.
It's smoother than what I'm used to. Less of that punch, more chocolate. Still strong enough to wake me up though Interesting to taste Robusta roasted the #ItalianCoffee way by @Barbera_1870.
Me: my post went viral
Friend: nice, were the likers even human
Me: define human
Jokes aside, that is the whole point @TheDAOLabs is making today. Ghost metrics feel great for a day and then quietly leave. What sticks around is research and explanation that someone can actually check, and WhoTweets weighs that reputation alongside raw volume. In #SocialMining I would rather be the boring account with receipts, because receipts still exist next month

Three inseparable pillars
Token architecture, business development and marketing are not three independent activities. They are three aspects of the same problem: how to make a tokenized business create sustainable value and be trusted by the community.
Business development answers the question "where are we going and how to create value". Token architecture replied "how will token support that journey". Marketing answered "how to make relevant people understand, believe and participate". If one of the three is missing, the model is easy to become skewed.
Many teams spend so much time on tokenomics that they neglect to clarify the business model. As a result, the token looks attractive but has no actual foundation to rely on. On the contrary, there are businesses that have a clear commercial direction but the token design does not match, leading to difficult operation and communication.
@TheDAOLabs clearly identifies these three areas in the consulting service for tokenized businesses. The relationship between them needs to be considered in parallel from the beginning. A token design is only really reasonable when it properly serves the enterprise to create value, serve participants and manage operations.
No function can completely replace the other functions. Good tokens start from good businesses. And a good business needs to be clearly communicated so that the relevant people understand and trust.
Starting from business logic will make everything behind much easier.

Every bull run brings a wave of accounts that look huge and go silent when the incentives end. Now @TheDAOLabs gives that pattern a label, ghost metrics, and points to what lasts instead: research, explainers, steady participation. Good #DAOVERSE reminder

A habit worth borrowing from this clip: before posting, ask whether someone could check it. If the answer is no, the post is probably chasing a number rather than adding anything
That is the line @TheDAOLabs draws between ghost metrics and real contribution. Research, clear explanation and regular participation can all be examined, and WhoTweets gives that kind of record proper weight. Small question, big difference for how the #DAOVERSE grows over the coming months

Quick lesson from the compute primer: a GPU hour means renting one graphics chip for one hour, and that hour can be priced and traded much like a barrel
Part 1 from @TheDAOLabs ties this to the logic behind Bitcoin mining and Social Mining. Clear #DAOVERSE starting point
Can we just look at this tin for a second?
It looks like something from an old Italian grocery shop. I'm definitely keeping it after the coffee's gone. @Barbera_1870 knows how to make #ItalianCoffee look good.
Opened the Barbera Can and the smell is strong! Intense, a little chocolatey.
Moka pot is going. This is the one I'm most curious about taste-wise. Final #Coffee of the @Barbera_1870 samples, let's see.
The Classica blend is the boldest of the four for me.
Strong, a little tangy at the end, and it stays with you. Really good with milk. If you like your #Coffee with personality, this is the one from @Barbera_1870.
