re: mclachapp tech support.
Thanks to Elon Musk's stellar work with this platform, my DMs is basically a cavalcade of porn and crypto scam. If you want me to fix something in mclachapp, just @ me please.
I'm actually pretty confused who the transgender character in BG3 is meant to be
Obviously not Gale. Not Shadowheart. Not Karlach or Laezel. You could maybe try to make a case for Astarion but it's a massive stretch. Not Wyll, Minthara or Halsin
Replying to @madcap412
Baldur's Gate 3 has:
A trans character, voiced by a trans person, who snaps at someone for deadnaming them and has a diary about their transition.
Body types with mix-and-match genitalia.
A bear you can fuck.
So why didn't it fail?
It's almost like quality is what matters.
This is it. There are so many games out there, I don't even consider any game rated lower than "very positive" on Steam
One thing about games right now that gets lost sometimes in the "go woke, go broke" discourse is that the games industry is really winner-takes-all.
You are never in a situation anymore where you have nothing to do, so you decide to buy "a video game" and just pick one out. If you are a gamer you've probably got some kind of live service title you engage with every day. You've got all kinds of streaming TV. You are not gonna buy some 7.5 out of 10 game to fill your time.
Video games cost $70. It is not sufficient for them to be just diverting content. People will not pay $70 for content. We have infinity content at home. This is true for all kinds of creative work these days, but it is especially true for video games because they are especially expensive both to make and to buy and because they ask so much of the consumer.
If you spend 7 years and $300 million making a game and at the end of all that, it's "fine," you're fired.
Two of my kids go to Jewish schools and one doesn't, and the only difference between their educational experience is the amount of security they have to get through on the way to school because of people like you.
Bioware hasn't put out a good game in 12 years. They're utterly and completely irrelevant to modern gaming landscape.
Let someone who isn't lame buy out their IP properties and actually so something with them
They should probably spend less time laughing and more time not being terrible at their jobs
"I'd be stunned if there wasn't some laughing going on behind the scenes" 👀

Is Andy moonlighting as a developer at Google Maps? Because if not, it's unclear what exactly *he* did here.
I know people are worried about fuel prices. And I get it. You get to the pump, watch the numbers climb, and wonder why it's costing so much more than it used to.
The reality is that global events are pushing up costs, and families here at home are feeling the impact.
But I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.
That's why from today, you'll be able to see petrol and diesel prices on Google Maps, compare nearby stations and find the cheapest option before you fill up.
It's a small change, but if there's a practical way to help people keep more money in their pocket, I'll do it.
Midfielder Reece James isn't actually good enough to be an every game starter at Chelsea
Stewart part of a sporting leadership team that have built a squad that finishes 12th, 6th, 4th and 10th and currently sits in 10th again, despite spending more than any club in the world. There are no good parts in that leadership team, they all need gone.
If you ever had imposter syndrome or professional self doubt, you're doing a better job than the person advising the prime minister of the UK on football matters.
The fact that this message, repeated daily for years, doesn't seem to land with a certain group of Chelsea fans is because that group doesn't actually misunderstand the issue at all.
🏟️ The reality is that @pitchowners have never in their history blocked a Chelsea stadium proposal. (via @TheAthleticFC) nytimes.com/athletic/7626667…
Lets be very clear, that group is fully in support of our stadium being moved tens of miles, even fully outside of London, as long as it gets them a bigger stadium they'll never visit but can flex online about. The reason they're against CPO is because CPO prevents that outcome.
