Sir Kessington Adebutu's (Baba Ijebu) son, Adebisi Adebutu, has secured $81.9 million in financing to nearly triple porcelain tile production in Nigeria. Afreximbank has approved the senior term loan for Veenocks Limited, founded by Adebisi Abidemi Adebutu, to support a $145 million expansion of its manufacturing plant in Sagamu, Ogun State. The investment will increase annual production capacity from 3.3 million to 9.9 million square meters, while creating 300 additional direct jobs on top of the more than 200 employees already working at the facility The expansion also aims to reduce Nigeria's dependence on imported building materials, increase the use of locally sourced raw materials and position Veenocks as a major supplier to African markets. Adebisi Adebutu, who heads R28 Holdings, is seeking to build a globally competitive Nigerian manufacturer capable of meeting European quality standards. Source: Shore Africa.

I actually paid 26k since last year. I could not attend my classes because of laptop and my Dad's health. I told them to swap my money for this one. Now he's late and nothing is holding me back. Hopefully they oblige. And hopefully I get Donjazzy's laptop.

Ayeraye rage-baiting 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Peller tried to rage-bait a Cameroonian guy he met in Canada who has 1.6 million followers on TikTok. He even begged the guy to tell his followers to follow him, only for the guy to search for Peller’s TikTok account and discover that Peller has 17.9 million followers. 😂

Aja, you are an irresponsible man for putting words in my mouth. Shameless too. You are no better than the average Obidient, just one with grey hair. You can quote what I said years ago, word for word. I stand by all of it. So aren't you ashamed to misquote what I said only days ago, on video? At no time have I denied that corruption is a Nigerian problem. Pretending I did is exactly what makes you a bad faith actor. This insincerity is the bane of the Obidient campaign. Nigerians see it, and they will punish it in January. You say Nigeria isn't poor, then spend the rest of your post explaining why Nigeria is poor. You must think you are talking to a fellow Obidient. Engaging you has been a waste of time. Get out of my face. Goodbye Aja. Alele out of here! PS: To the patriotic Nigerian reading, this is the video he misquoted intentionally. Liars this lot.
The PM of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, called his nation a "barren island"; I am quoting him. The leadership of Singapore took citizens from that barren island from $516 in 1965 to $98,814 in 2025. The leadership of Nigeria took citizens from a nation endowed with immense God-given wealth from $117 in 1965 to $4,63 in 2014 to $835 in 2025 (IMF) Singapore, with a smaller landmass, smaller population, and no fossil fuels, grew its budget and GDP per capita through the work of its leaders; they did not give excuses like "we are a poor nation" Let's move to China, because someone will say, 'what's the population of Singapore'? China in 1965 had a GDP per Capita of $65; in 2025, the GDP per capita of China was $13,862. Again, this was down to the work of the Chinese leadership Let's go to Ethiopia; it's chosen because of its population. Its poverty rate has increased just as Nigeria's poverty rate has increased, but there is a critical distinction. Between 2015 and 2025, Ethiopia’s average crude birth rate was approximately 32.4 births per 1,000 people, while its average real GDP per capita growth rate was around 4.5% to 5.5% annually. Nigeria, on the other hand, has maintained an exceptionally high average crude birth rate of roughly 36.8 births per 1,000 people, while its average real GDP per capita growth rate was marginally negative or stagnant, averaging approximately -0.1% to 0.2% annually. Translation? Poverty is rising in both nations, but Ethiopia is growing its economy faster than Nigeria and creating more wealth for its citizens, as shown in GDP per capita. The real danger in saying Nigeria is poor is that it insulates the Nigerian leadership from delivering the dividends of this blessed land to the people of Nigeria. A big part of what ails Nigeria is also corruption. In 2013, a young man named Japhet Omojuwa (any relation?) said, and I quote, "corruption at its most chronic height has been responsible for the resource curse Nigeria suffers." T Today, I am told that it's no longer corruption that ails Nigeria but income that's the problem. Income? The FGN got resources, N20t from subsidy removal and borrowing, and spent less than N300b on education. So are resources really the issue? As you said, China was poor, but the leadership of China acted like the nation was poor, wearing austere Mao suits and riding bicycles to work (not Rolls-Royce); if Nigeria is poor, why is the leadership acting like the nation is rich? Why is poverty only a defense when it comes to health and education? I have not heard the Nigerian Senate say Because of poverty, they will now drive assembled Nord cars locally " This then brings us to Nord; I fear you are reading this literally. If you go to China, India, or even Germany, you will struggle to see foreign cars. Do you know how many parts go into a single car? If the president takes his pen and says, henceforth, only Nord and Innoson will be used by all Federal agencies, do you know how many jobs will be created directly and indirectly: the FDI, the training centers, the suppliers, the steel sector, the glass sector, the fabrics sector, the rubber sector, the finance sector? The advertisers, the technical schools, the insurance sector. trade? You are scoring 500 cars by calculating their sales price; that's like scooping water from the Atlantic with your hands to count the fish in the ocean. I urge you to read up on the "Chicken tax" enacted in 1964 in America that subsequently allowed Detroit’s "Big Three" (Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler) to dominate the highly lucrative pickup truck and SUV till this day. Nigeria is not poor; I casually asked ChatGPT the value of Nigeria's oil and gas in the ground; the number was $ 3.5 T, that's three and a half trillion USD. This same Nigeria has an oil company with no functional refinery. So it's not a poverty issue; it's a failure to create wealth. This will not be my last post on this; my job on social media is to educate and inform and to hold the leadership to account factually. If you want to offer off-ramps to leadership that will not invest in wealth creation by all means, go ahead; keep insisting Nigeria is poor while the government spends millions on influencers (not you of course) If a man has a yam field and refuses to plant yams, he can't complain that he is hungry

"In 1999, when Tinubu contested for governor of Lagos State, he scored 851,000 votes. In his second-term election, the full weight of incumbency came into Lagos to stop him from returning as governor, including President Olusegun Obasanjo. It was tough. He was the only man standing. Yet he won with 911,000 votes despite all the power of the incumbency.” — Lai Omotola
