Bae U to Dangote: you don’t have to stand, sit down, it’s fine. Most of the interviews we see you in are on the platforms that my generation doesn’t watch. I think it’s high time we had the man with the biggest refinery on the biggest show on YouTube. Curiosity made me ask, when do you think we can have you, sir?

“DJ Tunez, Wizkid and Blaq Jerzee sampled my song without my permission on ‘Gbese.’ When Mr Eazi wanted to sample me, he asked for permission and if I wanted royalties. Ycee did the same. Wizkid’s management only reached out a day before the release, which wasn’t right.”

After I saw this post last night, I got curious. How does someone who wrote arguably the most popular book about building a rich mindset end up $1.2 billion in debt?
So I looked into it, then skimmed the book again to see if Kiyosaki had gone against his own advice. Here's what I found out: 👇 1/3
'Rich Dad Poor Dad' self-help author Robert Kiyosaki is $1.2 billion in debt: report trib.al/b2DKFjZ

And that huge number is partly the point he keeps making which is that, wealthy people more often than not, borrow against income-producing assets, while everyone else tends to borrow for things that lose value.
$1.2 billion in investment debt does not automatically mean the Rich Dad became Poor Dad. If anything, it’s close to the strategy the book talks about, which is using borrowed money to control income-producing assets, and letting the assets service the debt.
Of course, if those apartments stop producing enough cash and start draining money instead, then by his own definition they become liabilities. But until then, the debt number by itself doesn’t really prove the contradiction most people reacting to this news think it does.

I registered as a "striker" in this team but in the 2 matches I've been brought in, this our coach bring me in to replace defenders, then I overlap. 🤦🤦
I need to clear him, I'm coming in as a forward this time.

For those who think Femi Otedola will cash out his 1 billion dollar+ equity in First Holdco anytime soon, you're wrong.
Another important reason to read his book today, you'd understand he's in First Bank to stay & own it - as long as the company keep growing healthy + returns.

No matter how down bad you are right now.
Remember, the only way outta that hole is completing 1 task at a time.
Go down the list.
The worse thing you can do is get overwhelmed by looking at everything you have to do.
Focus on 1 task at a time.
Attack consistently.

Treasury bills are the most underrated investment in Nigeria. The government literally borrows your money and pays you back with interest. Backed by the full faith of the Federal Government. Zero default risk. Yet most Nigerians have never bought one.

Take the pressure off yourself to perform for the world. Perform for yourself, for your own pleasure. Because the truth is, when you authentically show up in ways that delight you, you add such light to the world. There is nothing more magnetic than someone fully owning who they are and doing the things that bring them joy.

Of course yes, by building @MBMBFinance . Maybe not directly proportional to "early Bitcoin" but I'm convinced it'd be really big in the future - with external support to scale, structure and mentality.

At least, one thing I'm never doing anymore in my life is receiving "investment funds" into my business. If it's not a proper shareholding setup where even losses will get shared, I'm not interested.
