A privilege to have been in the public gallery for defence questions today & to witness the praise from all sides of the house for @JSHeappey's tenure as Armed Forces Minister. He will be missed, but left this stark reminder of the threat & cuts Labour would bring to UK defence👇

An interesting decision! For the record the applicant stayed in the room and was joined by the LD planning portfolio Holder. The committee Chair,Vice and majority are LDs. Not a sensible way to act as a planning authority IMO. I wonder what members of the public think! – at Lydeard Saint Lawrence, England

Just one example of the Local Lib Dems saying one thing in their leaflets and doing another, often the opposite in reality. – at Lydeard Saint Lawrence, England

That's laid down the challenge on #Internationawomensday - A great team to work with @SomersetCouncil
On #InternationalWomensDay I’m very proud of the fact that 2/3rds of the @SomersetCouncil Cabinet are women. Not sure any other Council can beat that?! @LGAcomms

We're delighted to be the centre's anchor tenants as, along with @SomersetCouncil and @HeartofSWLEP, we look to further innovation in region's aerospace sector.
Today we’re at the #iAero launch in #Yeovil with @SomersetCouncil and @LDO_Helicopters. The centre will support the development of clean tech for the #aerospace sector, and we're delighted to support it through our #GrowthDeal and #GettingBuilding Fund.

Great turn out for the official opening of #iAero in #Yeovil. An example of amazing local talent & what can be achieved when business, government & local government work together to invest in our town. With @SomersetCouncil colleagues, @LDO_Helicopters & @MarcusFysh #Aerospace

Great news!!
It's good to see that @StrongSomerset now agree that a single unitary is the best approach for #Somerset. Glad to see they will be supporting One Somerset, not splitting our county and risking services to vulnerable people. @RobertJenrick
