I’ve jumped on the cerulean bandwagon- I’d truly love to find any of you over in the other place so please look me up and let me know if you’re there
I’ve been a fan of @strangehorizons for a very long time, so to see my words under that purple banner is surreal! My latest story is part of the @fightfortheftr Stop Copaganda series, which is very much worth checking out (link in thread)

And a special shoutout to @Earthbasedsoul and @SolarpunkNomads - we worked together in Italy to discuss solarpunk nomadism as a viable form of climate resilience. Those conversations had a large influence on how this story came together.
Got my author copy and as a contributor to this anthology can I just say- please judge this book by its cover. Please judge my story, me as an author, and me as a person by this cover.

I don’t think we talk enough about how disorienting it is to have your sense of seasonality disrupted like this. Also still boggles my mind to think my kids and I will always have different ideas of what a “normal” winter is

I just realized…as an elder millennial I’ve voted for four different presidential candidates. Of the four, half are Black. Half are women. I don’t think we appreciate that sort of progress enough. Even if there’s still work to be done.

My Italian friends, please look at this poll and consider joining our effort in partnership with the @BrennanCenter to repeal the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. We see the dehumanization of people worsening every day. This is OUR story.

Dropped off my ballot the other day, just got the email confirmation it was received. Colorado really does a great job at making voting accessible (in most areas- some still need work)

Our annual joint statement with the wonderful @chicago_italian. Fellow Italian Americans, please stand with us as allies to Indigenous peoples across Turtle Island! Celebrate #IndigenousPeoplesDay NOT Columbus Day.
Great statement in support of #IndigenousPeoplesDay from Italian Americans for IPD @ItaliansforIPD and Italian American Heritage Society of Chicago @chicago_italian.
Anti-racist Italians🇮🇹backing abolition of Columbus Day have often played an important role in #SinkingColumbus.

Y’all. We gotta stop. We’ve got all October to celebrate our heritage. Columbus does not represent us or our place in this country

A proud legacy. 🇮🇹🇺🇸 HAPPY COLUMBUS DAY! #columbusday2024

Calling all Nashville or Vanderbilt-affiliated authors: With the support of @curbcenter, I am editing an anthology of ecofiction! The stories should be sci fi or fantasy, focus on climate change, and be 100-1500 words long.
